God, my Father:

I turn to You seeking Your Divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment.

I need Your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest.

I wish to use the gifts and talents You have given me, but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. I need to support my wife and two daughters during these harsh economic times.

Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to You with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance.

Oh, and Father...I pray for my brothers and sisters who may find themselves in a similar situation looking for employment and trying to meet their respective financial obligations.

Grant this through Christ, our Lord.

Amen.

Dear Cypress,

I was recently in a similar situation, and a minister friend of mine, suggested doing what's called a "famine" offering................Which is a totally Scriptural principle..........

Abraham did it, as well as the widow that Elijah helped..........(he raised her dead son back to life) Elijah asked her to give him her last meal, and GOD so blessed her the oil and flour did not run out for a very long time.................

It has to be done in faith, and also has to be to a ministry considered "good soil"............You'll have to determine that before the LORD, as led by the HOLY SPIRIT............It doesn't have to be your home Church...........It could be any ministry, as long as it is good soil...........

When I did this, just a couple of weeks ago, my Unemployment had run out, and I was waiting to hear back from a job, well I never heard back from the job. Well my rent was due, my car insurance, and my phone, cable, and internet.............I SOWED THE SEED ANYWAY.............

Within 24 hours, I got a notice from the State that they were re-instating my Unemployment................I NEVER CALLED THEM ONCE, OR SENT ANY LETTERS OR ANY CONTACT AT ALL................

Try it GOD will honor it..........I'll be praying in the increase...........

Wow, The LORD just did it again...........as I mentioned above. I had paid all of my bills, and then my landlord informed me of the fact that my "OIL" was nearly gone.........

Well my I only get a limited amount of money with unem. bene's...........so I did it again, sowed a seed into good soil, and this is how the LORD blessed me this time.............The landlord called me almost immediately, and offered me $200.00 to get oil until my next unem....comes in.....

He has never done that in the entire time I have lived here..................So, now I have plenty of OIL until my next funds come in...............

OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD, HE REIGNS, HE REIGNS....................Try this Brother, GOD will honor it for you also...............
