God has asked for us to ask..So I am asking..

I am praying that God delivers you from this terrible predicament.

Jesus, please bless our brother slave and deliver him from this difficult situation! Give him favor both with Father God and with men. amen

Keeping the faith is the most important thing. God knows what you have need of and he will take of those needs, but putting Him first in all you do and being obediant is what He wants you to do. I know, I know it's easier said than done and for someone not walking in your shoes, it's easy to keep the faith. But we all have problems and it seems like in these last days, satan is really pulling out his ace cards, to throw the believer off track. But if we all stick together, pray and seek God's face, we will make it through whatever arrows satan is throwing.

I thank you all for the concerns and prayers you have put on my behalf,

I feel like Paul , in the area of Contentment. I have had plenty in my life. and I have had almost nothing, yet will I live in the reality of my life. That which is all and in all, My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My Joy loses, not a thing, yet my circumstances change around me on a regular basis, regardless of my investment in stability. I do not work in life anymore like when I was younger, to strive for the white Pickett fence and the balanced Christian walk, alone. I strive for the radical life of balance in Christ Jesus, to live a life of peace, and invest in people and things that are important in life. And this is in part because of the trials I have endured. From it comes a perseverance in me that redefines my character. All not to boast but to die all the more to self. Trials have been a blessing, my life bears much fruit.

As, a 80's artist might say this life at the moment, is "nothing but a thing".....the world calls me-in denial. I call me sold out. And as I have already said I do not simply wallow, or as scripture calls it, sloth, in my grace. I work hard to go forward, for faith without works is dead.

People at my job have told me I work way too hard. I set the bar too high for them to follow, said jokingly. Yet, it is even in my effort in my labor I serve God. I will come from this circumstance in life and move on...So, I thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers, for they will be your own credit in the log- book of heaven. And I personally thank you one last time. As the song goes.."And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace".

I see there is a parallel in my life as I live it...the more I remain the more my Joy gains....the stuff around me matters not!
That's not denial, that's reality. I have pain, but God is with me even on that score.

Aw just had to add another busy little bumble bee to this thread.

Praying that you will know the peace of God in this situation and that you will be able to find it in yourself to know when to act but also to know when to sit back and turn it all over to God. That is one thing God has shown me that I spend so much time at the front of the battle that I don't allow God to battle on my behalf.

Praying that God will guide you to a place to live and that he is already working on the heart of the landlord to have favour towards you. Praying for full healing, He knows our bodies far better than better than any medic. Praying for transport and a job also. One thing I have learnt is that sometimes it can be good to be in a position where we are forced to be still and use that time to build a relationship with God.

Just an update, I now have my car fixed...weeeee! One answered prayer. Other's soon to follow...smile....

LORD,

I ask and believe in Your restoration and healing in this situation. Lay Your hand on this brother and remind him that all things come together for the good of those who love and serve You, Father. That You, the LORD GOD Almighty, can turn the situation around in his home, and in the hearts of men. That You can grant him favour in the eyes of his co-workers and the people around him. Father, protect his heart and strengthen his faith, that he may speak into being that which is unseen and move the mountains in his life.

Hey slave, I know these are tough times and it may be hard to see a brighter day but when things like this happen, praise God! He will always provide. I pray in the name of mighty Jesus for your victory. I rebuke any forces that are trying to get you out of God's grace and I declare victory up on your life. Pain-gone! Unemployment-gone! Lack of home-gone! Lack of transportation-gone! Lord we come to you with humble hearts and unshakeable faith because we know you are in control. This storm will pass and we shall see your light. Build his strength Father and refresh his soul so that he may not falter but love you more because you are preparing him for a glorious season in his life. You know his heart, his situation and how much he is fighting to survive. Do your will Lord in your perfect time. May his current situation be a testimony very soon. May you place him in the right place, time, and with the right people. Surround him with blessings bigger than he has ever imagined. Thank you for the work your doing Lord. Hi Slave how are things going?

Happy to hear things are getting resolved. You have great faith. God acknowledges that!

Just to update, my divorce is final. I never stopped hoping.. God has given me peace thru-out it all. But the pain is not ever reduced. It is the most transparently painful thing in my life.

But now God has allowed my heart to rest. I have not slammed the door, even yet; despite obvious outcomes. .But ,I will in time, move on. I will allow the freedom to worship God in my house never to be undermined again. I am not throwing fingers at my ex, I am standing directly in front of Satan and telling him what's up! And God will have my back... A Jezebel will not slip by my notice. And although there is never a guarantee of such things, I will say this,... "as for me and my house I will serve the Lord!" Thank you all for your prayers and comments. May God richly bless you all.

Also I have found housing in a place better than hoped for. And I have my car repaired and my work is now my prayer....one more to go, then we start over? I hope not...smile! Whew!

Update: I have gone thru Nursing training now, and have been hired, circumstances may not allow me down this road altogether, but God can do as He pleases, and I will follow! Right now, a meal is a meal is a meal.... right? This post has been an encouragement to me, I was only planning on one inclusion but as I see the Lord working over time, I am an audience to His grace just as you all are..THANK YOU LORD!

Praising God is the Ultimate end and aim of all I go thru. "Whoso offereth praise glorifieth Me." What does it matter whether I am poor or rich, well or ill even, It is all a matter of indifference; but one thing is not a matter of indifference, and that is that I am pleasing to the ears of my God.

I have learned a lot of who God is over these last years; I have learned a lot of whom I am in relationship to God as well. We cannot talk to God unless we walk with Him when we are not talking. Smile. I know that in the trenches of my life; where the rubber meets the road, my prayers are not logical; but they are a mysterious moral working of the Holy Spirit.

I started praying for Him to prove His might to me, but that was me focusing on my difficulties, and not being humble enough. Once I got rid of that anxiety, and became humble to the bone, I realized as He was so calm, that God never answers prayer to prove His might; for He is the Almighty! I was transformed into my own calm, and trust, and confidence in God, that if God is for me, who can be against me?

Bring it on! God will have me conquer it; for God fights His battles thru me and for me! Even though, God never has done it my way, He has always done it the "Best" way. AMEN! .

If anyone would want me to pray for needs you may need prayer over, I am always available to invest in Eternal things of value so ask or mention them here in this thread, so we all can give birth to prayer..

Otherwise Satan would just overwhelm me with Urgencies in life. I intentionally slow down and wait on the Lord, and by doing that, all the Tyranny of the Urgent matters not.

I pray all of us are flourishing in Christ Jesus and Our Heavenly Father, for it is our relationship to Him the person, that reflects upon our circumstances, not the other way around!
