My brother has been out of work for nearly three years. His wife has a horrific spending problem, I'd say honestly an addiction. She has frequently spent bill money to go shopping and in the past their power has been turned off, phones shut off, car repossessed. She had a great job working for the city and just this past Friday she was fired because some money in her department has been disappearing and she is the one in charge of it.

They have absolutely nothing to fall back on and have a beautiful 2200 sq foot home they will probably lose.

They need prayer for provision but obviously there are other big issues that need to be addressed. She needs help with her spending addiction and my brother needs to learn to be the leader in the household.

Lord, please bless this family with what they need. Provide for them whatever they need to make it through. Help the wife to realize she has a shopping addiction, and hold her accountable for taking steps to not spend so much. In Jesus' name, amen.
