Hi folks. Without getting too personal, I need help with a couple of things.
Firstly, I need God to show me a good church to become a part of. I've been wandering for too long and I need the spiritual support and structure a good church can provide. I'm constantly falling into sin.
Secondly, I need God to show me what career path to embark upon. I've been out of work now for over a year.

Please pray for these things and ask God to show me, beyond the shadow of a doubt, which way to go on both these issues. I really need an unambiguous direction from Christ so that I can't make a mistake in the flesh and mess things up worse by going the wrong way, while thinking maybe it was God's direction when I first embark upon it.

Praying that the Lord will give you clarity & vision for your future. Sometimes when we get anxious about our future, its when the Lord is saying..."Be Still and know that I am God" ..Psalms 46:10. I have been in a similar situation where I have had a lot of anxiousness about my future, and the Lord is forever reminding me to simply Trust Him one day at a time. Prayer is powerful of course, & when we spend time with the Lord in Prayer and in His word, our anxious heart will begin to settle down.
Another scripture ..."Be anxious for nothing, but in all things Prayer and Supplication to the Lord." May the Lord bring you Peace & Rest as you prayerfully seek direction from the Lord. He will show you the path of life & lead you in the right paths for your future...

Well I can tell you what God has been teaching me and it is that when Christ purchased us with His blood He also to on the responsibility of meeting all our needs as well, however, we will never see this in our lifes without faith that this is so. Second helping gather in the harvest is work and is much needed.

Brother The_Wanderer,

Welcome to Christian Chat.

Do you spend time with God by mediating in His word in the morning and in the evening? Are you sharing your faith with others? Are you turning off the TV and the internet if these are things that beset you? When we come to Christ, He changes our spiritual clothing to robes of righteousness. When we are abiding in Christ in studying of His word, in singing hymns of praise, when in prayer and sharing our faith, the devil has no room to move into our hearts.

Brother just finding a good church is not going to keep you from sinning evening though the prayers and support will aid you. Ultimately its the choices you make that will free you or trap you....God says, "We can do all things through Him who strengthen us." It's also a good thing to find a good Christian brother to help you be accountable...be careful when you seek support because the devil aims to try to keep you so he will throw every wrench in the mix of your life just to discourage and make you think that God is not listening.

The devil will use anything and anyone who allows themselves to be use..The wheat and the tares grow together in churches...Ask God for wisdom in choosing a support group in a church...Remember you only want a church that is speaking the pure word of God....I will be praying for you. God hears when we desire to do His biding...I really pray that you get a job. Have faith in God and don't give into the flesh. He says, He is able to keep us from falling a
nd present us faultless before the Father for His name sake . His strength is made perfect in weakness. God ask us to put Him to the test concerning His promises. He says call upon Me in the day do trouble and I will answer you. Psalm 50:15

Hi , praying it agreement with you for the things you are asking for.

A little testimony for you, several years ago I was made redundant and was at a very low point in my life.
I didn't really have the energy to go looking for jobs, especially if I was to be reject. So I prayed that as I applied
for jobs, that I would not get an interview or hear anything unless it was th right job for me.

Well several months went by and I didn't hear anything, I began to wonder if I had done the right thing praying
like that. Then I got a job interview, my very first.

Guess what, I walked in and was told the job was already mine! I didn't even have an interview they just wanted
to meet me and show me around the place! I was GOB SMACKED :)

We serve a great big wonderful God, he will bring you through, he knows your needs and he sees your heart.

put your trust in god and lean not to your own understanding and he shall direct your path. ask God to let not your will be done but Gods will always for your life. Then God will open doors you never knew was there. Give the lord full access and allow him to take the things out of your spirit that will hinder and fill you up with the promises of gods word the father wants good for his people. your blessings come from the lord.

Hi :)

Which province in Canada are you from? I know a few good christian friends in B.C they all go from different churches. I am happy to talk about it with you. Sounds like you need a small connect group/fellowship group as part of the church, and not just church services.

I had to learn the hard way, no church is perfect, it has fallen people with sin. You just need separate the bad eggs from the good eggs. Keep the good eggs, and count your blessings.

As for career wise, what are you passionate about? I've been out of work too in the past, and it horrible feeling, but I personally would recommend getting any job first, that way you get the "ball running", talk to few people at work and get that "flow" going, so God can direct that stream and work with you....

Speaking about "ball running", sometimes if you kick the ball, it might not go in a straight line or in the direction you want to go. The good thing about God is he always kicks back the ball to you, when you kick back the ball to Him. The direction of the ball requires some action and faith, so God can work with it.

So I encourage you to get personal with God, get the ball running, and give yourself permission to make mistakes. It's only through mistakes we learn, we grow and God is BIGGER than any mistakes we go through! He will deliver you!

I am excited for you! And will pray for you! :)

(James 1:5) So if any one of you is lacking in wisdom, let him keep asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching, and it will be given him.

God wants you to be saved!!! Rest assured, your prayer is already answered

Feel free to send me a private message. I live far from B.C., though.
I've gotten quite personal with God, even to the point of yelling at Him. I can't do this without His help and He is ignoring me. One would figure that, since God is omniscient and supposed to be a loving Father, he wouldn't let me languish like this. All it's doing is creating more and more bitterness within me and driving me farther away.
Consider me a baby and God is my dad. Would any loving dad just let his baby wither and die? Yet God won't even send me a real Christian friend, much less show me the way to go in life.

God is with you right now....I hate the invisible thing with a passion and wish we could see eye to eye like Adam and Eve did walking with God in the garden....Why oh why did they disobey?

Direction....first pray about what and where God wants you to be church wise and then get the local phone directory and start visiting churches for a while praying that God will direct you to where He would have you end up. I would make sure the church teaches and preaches salvation through Jesus and are active in spreading the gospel/good news that Jesus Saves.

Pray God helps you find the job that He wants you in and then beat the internet to death as it seems you must apply online these days....I personally am not too fond of this as no one sees a real person so impersonal to me but they didn't ask my opinion it's just the way things are in today's world....I pray you will find what you are seeking

Just know that God does love you and He is a big enough God to take your yelling at Him....I remember I was angry at Him one time walking across a parking lot to my car saying I'm not talking to You....and I heard a little chuckle in my head with a question.....What are you doing now? Yep, even though I was mad I was still talking to Him and best part was He was listening.
