hello,

i want to ask you all to pray for a younger brother who is struggling mightily right now and in a great deal of emotional pain. while i don't think he is suicidal, he is at the point where he would just as soon not wake up in the morning, either.

"A" is going through a lot of emotional pain right now, and dealing with several things that are causing him to withdraw and even considering turning his back on God. or at least blaming him quite a bit for his problems.

efforts have been made, and continue to be made to encourage and help. but right now, i would just ask you to pray that he would be more open to the presence of other believers in his life, and that God would make His presence known, or someone touch his life. i think he feels that God has forgotten or abandoned him, perhaps?

anyway, thank you in advance for your prayers! it's greatly appreciated.

I will certainly pray for this younger brother. That is a horrible feeling believing that God has abandon you. The post that you wrote is a prayer also. God hears and answers all prayer and where two or three are gathered in His name He will be in the midst of them.

thank you tourist. yes! we are so blessed that we have a "helper" who intercedes on our behalf as well. : )

honestly, i am at a loss to even know what to pray for. but God knows his needs and i pray that God will intercede and make His presence known, and touch him in a powerful way.

thanks to all for keeping "A" in your thoughts and prayers.

Lord, please be with A right now, touch him with your loving hands. Let him know that he is priceless to you and that he is treasured by you. Help him turn to you right now. Change his heart and mind, and give him a reason to get up every day and glorify you. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lifting your younger brother up to the Lord in prayer...Lord I pray for this brother, that you would touch his heart in a very deep way, where he would look up to you & realize that you have always been there waiting for him to come to you. Let his heart see how much he is loved by you. Lord bring divine encounters into his life, where he would begin to see that you are real & that there is a whole family of believers who are part of his family. Soften his heart & bring divine healing to him now, I ask this in Jesus Holy name....

we ask father God that you show up in your servant life in a mighty way let him know that you are God in every situation he may ever have. give A peace that surpasses all understanding we bind and rebuke all works of the enemy and cast them to the foot of the cross. we thankyou father God in the midst of our trials and tribulations. we give you all the praise and honor. in Jesus Christ name. amen

You do not know what to pray for... but that 'Helper' does. If you let Him pray thru you, you can speak to such mysteries. It doesn't have to be anything showy... in fact the most powerful words are often those you speak in complete solitude.

I don't know if you believe in such things, but I feel compelled to share the idea with you. This is precisely what that gift is for. Personal intercession over things you know not of.
