Does god answer your prayers??

For the last month or so I've been coming to this forum and in particular the prayer request section. I've been reading through a lot of the prayer requests and requesting some prayers of my own. I've prayed for those people who've needed help and I hope your prayers have been answered in some way.

Now to my question "does god answer your prayers". As I stated above I had requested some prayers, ranging from anxiety, headaches, health worries, and my grandmother was very sick and tired. I wish I could thank every one, in person, and look you in the eyes and say thank you. I genuinely feel as though your prayers make a massive difference and that god must hear you when your praying for others.

Last week I went to see my grandmother, she seemed extremely sick, and exhausted. She was slumped over in her chair, asleep, drooling. It seemed as if she was really weak and didn't have much time left. My father and I sat with her and held her hand and just talked to her, even though she was asleep. I had tears coming down my face because she looked so helpless, I prayed to god that he would help her in "any way possible". We spent over an hour with her, when we were leaving I kissed her on the check and forehead several times, thinking the worst. After I returned home I said a few more prayers and then went online to this website, and I requested that people on this site would pray for her. I asked that you would pray that she would either recover or that god would bring her peace.

I believe god answered the prayers for my grandmother. My aunt went over to visit my grandmother this weekend and she had made a 180 degree turn around. She was alert and in a good mood. She said that it was amazing, my aunt couldn't help but smile when telling me that she was doing great. It is such a turn around from when I last visited her. She went from being passed out, drooling, and us talking about calling hospice to come over and make her as comfortable as possible, to a couple of days later when she was upbeat and back to her own self. On Mother's Day several family members went over and celebrated with her. I can't help but believe all of the prayers played a significant part in her recovery. I'm so thankful for all of you who prayed for her, it means the world to us.

Now I don't know how prayers work, I don't know how God goes about answering them, but I do believe in my case I have seen evidence of prayers working. I've seen them working in my life and in my grandmothers life. I've seen it first hand and I'd like to encourage everyone who reads this to pray for others as much as possible, you never know what effect that prayer may have on someone's life. And if you need help, just ask.

I browse this page pretty much every day, and pray for the people who request it. I usually say a prayer for them in my head, or out loud when I'm at home, I hope that anyone who needs help gets the help they need.

I pray that god will help each and every person on this forum, I pray that he helps guide you on your journey.

Prayer is not as simple as asking and him answering. See in my case I ask for something but no matter how pure the intention behind the prayer like healing for someone I never have seen it answered, in fact many of my prayers continue to go unanswered and many would say it's an issue of lack of faith but this is not so.

See in my prayers I like many could ask with no doubt and it would happen but a lot of times we don't really know or understand what we are asking for. That person I want healed so badly may very well be going through it for their good for God's glory, so if say he doesn't answer yes I look at the bigger picture. If he said no or wait he has a very good reason for it he sees what we don't and I trust his judgement with full confidence. So I ask I pray and no matter what the answer is I trust him. I don't rely on the strength of my faith- no doubt what so ever to have a mountain moved rely on his will.

I wait for him to act while I am at the ready to be used for him to speak for him to teach me.

Our heavenly Father loves us so much that like our earthy fathers he will not give us everything we ask for. Pray must be direct and clear so that when the pray is answered you will know without a doubt.
God bless and trust your heavenly father He knows what he is doing.

The details are a little to personal to put up on the internet but I would say that yes God did answer them. Caduceus
