Need prayer badly please

I have Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus which means I have to have a shunt to drain excess fluid off my brain. Well,2 months ago I began having mini seizures and went to the hospital and had tests done and was constantly plied with Ativan and told it was all psychological and I needed a psychiatrist. Well,I knew this was bologna,so I went to my regular physician and after he and his nurse witnessed the episodes first-hand in his office,he said they were mini seizures and I needed to be on medicine. So,he put me on Dilantin and I was fine for 2 months. Then last week,they started again,so I had to go back in the hospital and STILL had nurses saying " This isn't a seizure because she's alert." So I was again plied with Ativan until my primary physician had the sense to take charge and realize that wasn't working,so he added Phenobarbital to my Dilantin. I'm scheduled June 4 to see the SAME neurologist who ran an EEG last time I was hospitalized,and part of that had to be stopped because I was having a reaction to the pulsing lights,AND when he came in and shined a light in my face I started convulsing then,which has NEVER happened to me in my life,so I KNOW this isn't psychological! Also the Phenobarbital is making me so sleepy during the day that I can barely function and have to end up going back to bed! PLEASE pray my doctor can cut back on the medicine and that when June 4 comes I can get the answers I DESPERATELY need to help me! I know I don't deserve God's mercy,but I pray He'll see fit to give it to me anyway. There's so much I haven't got to do yet. Please God help me get better! Seizures can be caused by deficiencies in certain nutrients but medical doctors will not be able to help with this due to lack of training. You would have to consult a biochemist or someone with this knowledge and who can get you some tests done. Medications will deplete the body further. I will see what l can find out for you. God bless and please ask the Lord to show you the way.

Just had a quick look and b6 and vitamin d are known to cause seizures. You need to look into integrative medicine for answers.

I'm sorry to hear that you're not getting results/answers from doctors. We had similar cases with my brother who suffered from seizures and the so called 'doctor' didn't even give proper dosage or method to which he had to take the medicines for it...

Is there a way you can set up with a different neurologist or at least get a second opinion? I'm afraid that I don't know much about Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus, though I have heard cases with people with water in the brain but never knew the term... Keep us updated.

Thank you all. Had to be changed from Phenobarbital this morning to Keppra because the Phenobarbital was having horrible side effects and making me cry uncontrollably. Please pray this works better. Thanks! God Bless!
