My mother went into the doctor today because her eyelid was swollen so he shoved a needle through her eyelid into her eye and said she was possibly now "blinded for life."

She can't see out of her right eye. A retina specialist has been called from the local hospital. This was 30 minutes ago.

She reads documents for a living (or used to).

Healing prayer requested please!!!

Lord you have opened the eyes of the blind to see . Lord we pray for ageofknowledge's, touch her eyes and bless her to have her normal eyesight, yes Lord Jesus Amen!

You all are wonderful. Thank you. And we just got good news from the eye doctors. They tested her and said the prognosis is good for a full recovery but we have to go through the process. I have to pick her up and take her to another appointment with a retina specialist tomorrow. But I'm thanking God for that good news at this point. You just never know when someone gets stuck in the eye with a needle and lose their sight in it what the prognosis will ultimately be. My advice, stay away from eye doctor's who like needles or you might be really really sorry.

wow what a crazy day. i'm glad she's probably gonna be okay. my son got cut in it years ago, it healed before we could find a doctor. thank you God. i'll pray.

My wife has macular degeneration, and for treatment she had to submit to not one but two needles in the eye... while awake! After seeing the first I couldn't watch the second. They'd have to put me out and tie me down!

AOK, I ask in Jesus Name that your mom be just that - A-OK. Let us know how it goes tomorrow - but I think I already know how it will :)
