One of the children I nanny came to myself and her mother crying because she suddenly understood the realness of hell and the cross. Please please PLEASE pray for her. She used her own words to tell us how she felt and she herself went through the plan of salvation. She understands WHY she needs Jesus, she just doesnt fully understand how to ask. She's still thinking it's being good and works so we both explained it's by faith and you can tell she is earnestly seeking.

We both did our best to explain that we can't ask for her and it's not a specific prayer or someone else telling her she's saved. Please pray for her understanding and salvation. That she truly understand its not emotions but a matter of faith.

Hi there was a song we use to sing in Sunday school years ago which went:-

A little child of seven
or even three or four
may enter into heaven
through Christ the open door
and if that child believeth
on Christ the son of god
that little child receiveth
salvation through his blood

Praying for this little one :)

Have you also seen the wordless book.
It is a great way to get the salvation massage across to
children.

It is a book with different coloured pages.

Black is for sin
Red for the death on the cross
White for repentance
Green for growing in faith
Yellow for heaven

Because it hasn't got any words you can show them the coloured
pages and tailor what you say to the appropriate age group.
Children tend to remember the colours and their meaning even if their
reading skills are not too good. It's a good way also for adults to
explain the gospel in a systematic way keeping it simple but covering
the basics.

Here is an example of how it can be used

Children seldom "cry" from joy and loving desire. It is usually from fear we have instilled in their little minds.

Lord, bring this little child to you. Help her understand how salvation works, and give her the seeds she needs to make her faith grow.. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thanks for all the prayers! She came to the alter this morning all by herself and professed her belief and found her salvation through His grace.
