Please pray for...

Please pray for a friend named Gwen, she recently suffered several strokes that have caused her to be paralised.
She is struggling with depression and thoughts of ending her life.
Please pray that Jesus will fill her heart overflowing with His great love and comfort, and that I will be given the wisdom needed to answer her questions to bring her to Jesus.

Lord we pray for pickles friend Gwen. We ask that you would give pickles the right words to say to her and that Gwen would be drawn to you. We also pray for the medics and ask that you would guide them and help them as they try to help her.

God knows what's best for everyone. Even if everything seems to be wrong, He is still in control. He will never ever give us burdens and problems more than our ability can deal with. Everything that happens in our life, is in God's hand. Hope she will get soon and gain her spirit back sending prayers for her

I pray God will deeply touch her spirit, giving her the will to cope and to live. I pray for His healing hand to move - in the name of Jesus!

Pickles, I had a friend with COPD who had neck surgery recently. Something went wrong and in a few days he was totally paralyzed from the neck down. He couldn't breathe, so a tube was running down his throat, making it impossible for him to talk. All he could do was nod and shake his head to answer questions. He and his family were very poor, I think.

The day came soon where decisions had to be made about his future, since he couldn't spend the rest of his life in the intensive care unit. I had been visiting him and reading the Bible to him, and his wife was reading the Bible to him. Certainly he loved the Lord.

However, he made the decision to have the ventilator shut off. My pastor thought it was a bit cowardly of him. I thought the opposite. I think there was little chance he was going to get better, and he didn't want his family spending what little they had on his medical bills for the rest of his life. I'll never know for sure, though.

Father God I pray for comfort, peace, joy, and everything to shows her and the people around her all about u!! Ty Jesus Christ!

Thankyou all for your prayers, I gave her a large print Bible and she willingly received it, so hopeful for fruit in faith for her.
She is doing better in some ways, but in other ways, not so well.
She recently learned she will be moved to a nursing home, and is broken by this.
I truly believe that right now Jesus is standing at the door for her with open arms, so please continue to keep her in your prayers, for much healing is needed in her heart for the many broken hearts of her past and the abuse she suffered.
