Hey guys. As you probably know I have anxiety issues and chemical imbalances, so it sort of really amplifies everyday stress. I guess a continual prayer request (because it will pop up every time I do something wrong) is that I calm down when something goes wrong at work. I have OCD so it's very hard for me to let things go, especially when I make a mistake. Today I was supposed to open the store (with a manager) and I wasn't aware because no one physically told me. But I was given a paper that said when I was supposed to open which apparently I looked at incorrectly, so it was indeed my fault. As a result someone had to come in early.

It's kinda nice that I now don't have to come in until 1pm, but right now I am tense and anxious and I'm worried it will affect today. It's Saturday and will be busy, so I don't want to make a busy day worse by being all nervous about messing up more.
Please pray that I will learn to handle my mistakes better.

May the mighty comforter instruct you on how to take things easy. May HE take control when you have lost it and keep you focused on Gods control of every situation. May he teach you to surrender your problems, stress, anxiety and know there's no problem bigger than God! Every problem has solutions my dear! Always reach out to God, breath thoroughly and ask God for grace and peace. In the mighty name of King Jesus, amen!!

Praying for you! It's hard for me to let things go too. Don't worry, they're a bigger deal in your head than they actually are. You're gonna have a great day at work! :D

I am also a little anxious at work at times. I have learned to pray about a situation, I ask for God to help and guide me as I work and He really does, He really will help you if you ask. You don't need to be anxious when you have God on your side - which you do.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6

You are not the only one with this type of anxiety. I will say a prayer for God to calm you and relieve your anxiety. Just remember, this is just a job and not your career. It's gonna be OK. For the both of us.

Hi, it was a genuine mistake. Can happen to any of us, so don't be so hard on yourself. I understand with anxiety though, I will keep you in my prayers & ask God to help you to calm at times like these. The fact that you're worrying shows you care,
I'd rather work with a caring woman who made a mistake , than a mean woman that can't admit mistake.
It will be ok, take it easy.

Lord we pray for Artsiessteph, please let you take away all her anxiety and worries, and heal her from all kinds of imbalances, and other healings in her body. Lord bless her and teach her ways, and also help to get favour from her manager and staff, Lord let you be with your loving daughter Artsiesteph, and bless her, in Jesus glorious name, Amen!

Glad to hear that things are going well. The more you confront anxiety and OCD, the less hold it has on you. My mom has both, and the family just tip-toed around it. She got worse and worse, to the point where she is frightened to leave the house.

Praying your job continues to go well, and you are able to defeat these irrational feelings, and have confidence in both yourself and in God.

For some reason I keep having this depressed front that I'm not contributing enough in my work because everyone else seems to be so much more motivated to do extra stuff the store needs (making signs, price signs, arranging merchandise to look nice, ect)

It would be nice if I had a day where when I make a mistake at work I am not riddled with guilt and shame

I seem to have something wrong, I have puking randomly at work, to the point where I had to go home. Fortunately they were isolated incidents (which doesn't matter to one of my coworkers) and not like a bug... Just prayers I guess that I isolate the cause because I can't have this happen multiple times.
