I've met someone who is in immense need of prayer. She is so young and had already been through so much mess in her life, beginning with an abusive alcoholic father, and then she married young and endured a husband who abused both her and their baby girl in monstrous ways. I am not exaggerating... it's to shudder. Due to everything that she had to endure in the past, she's now crashing under her current problems, simply no more capacity to handle anything anymore because she's been through too much and practically isolated in it.
I tried to encourage her and comfort her, and she did go home uplifted, but this is a drop in the sea. She needs far more. What I told her among other things is that she might want to talk with a social worker who works with victims of abuse, that they are much better equipped to help her, because she held it all inside for years and it's breaking her. Even her mother did not know any of it, until recently. She believes in God and even testified to me today, she ministered to me when I tried to minister to her. She said that God's pulled her out of a much worse mental spot she had been in, and even shared a testimony how God saved her and her daughter's life.
Please pray for her spiritual, mental and emotional healing, restoration and peace of God over her... this most importantly. Then for her health, because stress is damaging her overall health and she has problems with her spine, but the treatment is insanely expensive and she cant afford it. Please pray that she will gain weight to normal, as well as that God will provide solution for her spine issue. She's extremely stressed and afraid of the surgery, which the doctor said she will have to endure if she doesnt do the exercises... but she cant afford to stay in the proper facility which provides the therapy. I asked her is there any home exercise she can do, but her doctor told her it's too advanced stage for it to be of any effect. Please pray that she will hear second opinion if this doctor is wrong, it could be so. Who knows if he isn't just somehow connected to that facility and getting profit for sending people there, lying to them there is no other option...? That's at least what crosses my mind now when I'm thinking about it... it wouldn't be the first nor the last time such happened. Finally please pray for all her family issues to be resolved, that certain person with non stop hatred will be cut out of her life and that she will be fully surrounded with much LOVE and PEACE that she can start her recovery. She has suffered way too much for her 22 years. Please God look at her faithfulness, how she does not forget that You have been there for her and did things for her. Please speak full healing over her life, that she will forever continue to praise You and give thanks. Help her make the right decisions and find peace in You, and also protect her children. If there is any memory of abuse troubling anybody, let it be erased quickly and not remembered anymore. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
