Thank you all for your continued and prayers and positive energy. As update, Martha could not be removed from the ventilator as planned and she is also still heavily sedated. They were able to perform a tracheotomy for the ventilator so she's more comfortable. She can nod yes and no but not speaking. Some good news - some of the skin they thought would be lost on her arm and side was not as bad as first thought and did not have to be removed.

Again, this will be a long recovery but doctors are confident she'll survive. Thank you so much for prayers during the most critical days. Please remember her as time goes on. I probably won't continue with updates as she is no longer in "gravely critical" condition, however she's still critical but thanks to God she has made it past the most dangerous of times. Thank you so much for remembering her.

Please be with Martha and bring her through this great trial stronger than ever. Help build her health and ability to heal from this terrible accident. Perform a miracle in her life Father and guide the Doctors that work on her to do their very best. Please help her not to have to suffer too much pain and build her faith and trust in You through this ordeal. Hold her close to Your heart Father in Jesus Name Amen.

Thank you sooo much for your continued prayers. Our loving God hears you! As update and for God's Glory, Martha's recovery has been slow and at times nerve racking but she's still with us and her grafts are completed! There's going to be other operations but not for a while. She's still on a ventilator and still heavily sedated but still able to respond to yes and no questions and still ..... alive. This is so slow but the fact that she lived is testament to God's Grace and when two or more are gathered in prayer.

The first time I ever met Martha she was skinning a rattlesnake. Do you believe that? I didn't either but my eyes weren't lying when she showed me the rows of rattles on its tail and explained how she could tell the snake's age. Then she showed me a whole box of rattler skins and a couple of copperheads that she sold. She explained how she preserved them and how she hunted them herself. Then as I looked I saw vegetables of every kind in jars on the shelves and preserves on some more shelves and coon skins nailed flat on the wall and a pair of boots tied by their shoelaces hung over a nail and her wide brimmed felt hat. She had long flowing bright blond hair that she tied in pigtails and a big warm welcoming smile.

That was back then I guess. Thank you all again and please keep up your prayers because they work. Praise be to God Almighty Amen.

A friend drove her tractor over some shifting sand on a hill and the tractor turned over and pinned her underneath. It spilled diesel fuel on her and sadly caught fire. She had the presence of mind to grab her rifle she carried and fire shots for help. A young woman nearby heard the shots and found her. She's currently in intensive care with face, left arm, and hip and leg burns on about 70% of her body. She's 67 and as tough as they come but the face and arm burns are deep tissue burns and all who know her would appreciate your prayers.
As a GOOD NEWS update, my friend Martha who was gravely injured in a tractor accident explained above, and who spent over a hundred days in intensive care and now 6 months in intensive prayer, is finally sitting up in a chair on her own and saw her whole family for the first time since the accident at Christmas. She is now out of the hospital and in a nursing home with "rumors" at least of going home. Unbelievable miracle and witness to our Almighty God and proof that where two or more believers are gathered in prayer that those same better expect great things! Thank you so much for your prayers.

Thank you for the update, and thank you for giving me hope again. Hubby has been in the hospital for 98 days now (out on intensive care for about a month, but got worse after he left ICU.) I lost hope. This gave me a little back, so thank you.

Cool how God uses something to help more than one person, huh?
