Tractor Accident

A friend drove her tractor over some shifting sand on a hill and the tractor turned over and pinned her underneath. It spilled diesel fuel on her and sadly caught fire. She had the presence of mind to grab her rifle she carried and fire shots for help. A young woman nearby heard the shots and found her. She's currently in intensive care with face, left arm, and hip and leg burns on about 70% of her body. She's 67 and as tough as they come but the face and arm burns are deep tissue burns and all who know her would appreciate your prayers.

So sorry to hear this, God of mercy speed this woman's healing, physically and emotionally. Father, I pray for the burn unit anoint them to treat this precious woman and aid any skin graphs to do what is intended for them to do. I ask for grace for your grace is sufficient and give he a testimony and may she feel your presence and Holy Spirit. May she be a powerful witness unto you in that hospital bed. I am sure that we all give you the praise for what you are going to do for her and the burn unit staff.

We know that all things are possible unto the Father through Jesus Christ the son, we believe it to be even so. Amen

Thank you all for your prayers and Skylove, if I was ever to meet a real angel, I think she'd be a little like you. As update, Martha is still on earth today and is covered from head to foot in bandages and tubes. Her condition is still very critical. She can't speak but she responds by nodding yes and no. She's being fed by a tube and fluids are replenished the same way. She's scheduled for surgeries as they start the process of removing dead tissue and with all that's against her, she struggles on. Like I said, she's tougher than most anybody I know. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

Thank you, thank you for taking time to pray for Martha. It warms my heart to know people like you can care for someone they don't even know. To update, Martha is stabilizing. She has undergone some work on her face where damaged tissue was removed and now has cadaver's skin until her own skin can be grafted. Her arm and side have had similar skin removal process. Thankfully, no lung damage has been found and they hope to get her off her ventilator by this weekend.

This "thing" she's going through is simply barbaric, frankly. She's still in critical condition but thanks to Almighty God and His Grace, the light at the end of this particular tunnel is the fact that Martha still resides on earth in her injured and painful body and doctor's feel optimistic about her survival.

So now we are measuring her improvement in terms of a day or a week or even a month instead of hour to hour. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. A mountain of friends have joined you and He has heard us! Praise God - and please keep Martha in your heart as she "begins" her next stage of recovery. Maybe her hardest.
