Best friend going into missions

I don't normally post a lot on here, but I thought now was as good a time as any... My best friend has gone through some major life changes in the past month or so, and God has really put it on her heart to go into missions. She applied to an organization based in Virginia (8 hours away) for a nine month training and she was accepted. She is currently raising funds and she is super excited. Its looking like shes gonna have enough for her first month and she is going to let God carry her through the rest of the time. This will ultimately end up with her being in long term missions over seas... I would like to ask for prayer for her that God can continue to provide for her and lead her the way He wants he to go. I would also like to ask for prayer for myself as I don't know what Im going to do without her and that I can continue to see that this is where GOd wants her and that she is doing God's work.

Lord continue to bless this friend, and we also pray for Kat guide her to walk in your ways, and fulfill your assigned work, and let you be glorified, and your will come true in Kat's life, in Jesus name, Amen!

I know u will miss you sister in Christ but just know its only temporary. If God has called her to this mission field, He has promised to provide for her all needs. He says, The harvest is ripe and the laborers are few, go ye into the harvest. He has called all of us, be it near or far. Its the faith of Jesus that will see her through if she continues in His marvelous light...just think when she returns, she will have lots of testimonies of how she and others overcame by the blood of the Lamb...she will be a different person when she gets back...she will have grown in a spiritually mature manner...if this is the mission for her....so its not good bye..but hello...be of good cheer..hopefully u 2 will keep in touch...to God be the glory.

I think you're so awesome to bravely ask for prayers here. Both for your friend and especially for yourself.
I know in my heart God has a joyful weight in mind for you to balance out this sadness as you get your head around the idea of not having your friend so close. And I pray that you grow with the help of The Holy Spirit at this time and uncover new blessings. Amen.

So... Thought Id post a little update...
My best friend got enough funds for her first month, id relying on God to provide for her for the next eight. She leaves Monday morning. So prayers for her safety are greatly appreciated...

Oh my heart is so excited for her, I was blessed to travel to Germany, Ghana and Mexico on missions trips before I had children.
I will pray for her safety and provisions as I already feel assured though that these things the Lord has already thought of :) I hope you will be able to always stay in touch with her.
