Its been a long time since i post thread here. I dont know u all still remember me or not, well nevermind. Ok lets start
I post some thread for health healing maybe 4 or 5 months ago, but until now my health is not getting better but worser...
i visit the doctor and doctor said i had REFLUX DISEASE, my lifestyle totally changed, doctor said my lifestyle will no longer same as a normal person, means that this disease will never cure till the day i go to heaven, sometimes my stomach still got a bit pain, i had to take my medicine everyday and many other things must be avoid like eat big meal etc...i feel like want to cry when i see my others friend can live a normal person life...im now 19 y/o, i dont want my life become worser, i always feel like there is no hope on my future, even i prayed everyday, i just feel sad...

This is the another disease. Both my eye is weak, high near sighted, one of my eye had RETINA DETACHMENT, the retina was sealed back 4 years ago by surgery, but now this eye start to feel uncomfortable, when i open my eye, my EYE FEELS PAIN, so i must close it. Doctor said this is dry eye symdrome, but after i use the eye drop, the symdrome doesnt feels better. Because of this problem, i cant continue my study and i cant go to work. I stay at home for already 10 month, i feel like im useless...cant study, cant work...

So in conclusion, please pray for my uncure able reflux disease will cure miraclely and my eye will not in pain, so i can go work or study to make a brighter future for me AND my parent.

Sorry for the long story and bad english, i have no people to talk about this things, so i just tell u all this, this makes me feels better. Thank u all!

Yes, us humans get all kinds of 'ailments' and such..I have certainly had my share..but..finally...I took JESUS at HIS word..when HE said "THy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." I took a serious look at heaven. I found there are no crutches there...no headaches, no retina problems, no anxiety problems, no gout, no reflux diseases, etc. So..each time that I have prayed this prayer, I was asking JESUS CHRIST that HIS will be done here and NOW as it is already existing in heaven. I simply placed my hand on my wound or hurt and prayed in total faith that HE take this away...and HE did. I no longer have gout, and pain...and many times, the healing took place within a day or two..and sometimes, IMMEDIATELY...because He is the Great Physician..the Healer and how can I be effective and give HIM the glory if I am in a weak state or sickly all the time?

You have GERDs. 17% of Americans have GERDs. It's not a death sentence. It's not horrible. Your life isn't over. AND, you only have to change your eating habits if changing them helps control the GERDs. Hubby and I both have it. I think it's a genetic thing in my family, because I didn't even know it was abnormal not to have part of dinner come back up into my mouth. It was family talk about what came back up, it's so common in my family. (Mmmm, peppers! Twice as nice. lol)

But hubby and I eat the same thing, but don't have the reflex from the same thing. I CAN eat chocolate to some extent. His stomach is a bit fussier. He gets heartburn from any greasy thing. I can't take raw bell peppers or onions. (Cooked, no problem. Well, neither one of us can eat blooming onions, but that's because of the grease AND hotness of the onion.) What you're suffering from is an overdose of generalization from doctors. They tell you what works for some people and then give you the full list to tell you to do all of it. Trust your gut, and you'll figure out what you can't eat anymore. Sooner or later, it won't be worth the taste because of the effects of the GERDs.

We didn't give up red meat because of any health or religious reason. We just got tired of being sick for so long after eating red meat. I love ice cream! It hates me, so I don't eat it anymore. I still miss potato chips, kielbasa (Polish sausage) and hotdogs (American sausage, taste like American bologna, except it's cooked.) They're yummy, until the GERDs makes me too sick to enjoy them. Even typing those words feels a bit like facing a poisonous snake. My body goes into alert, because they make me that sick.

That's what you have. Congratulations. You're like 17% of Americans. Notice America doesn't have anything going on that shortens our life expectancy. In truth it's just a weak LES. Not a virus, germ, or bacteria. You'll adjust. Just stop thinking you're dying and figure out what Reflux Disease means for YOUR diet. It really is different for each one of us, so it's possible you can eat bigger meals. It's possible you can eat chocolate. It's possible you can eat many things you already gave up. And, if it's not possible? At least you know why you feel so lousy after eating those things, so you won't want to eat them again.

As for your eye? Sorry. Can't help you with that one, but I will pray for you.

You have been heard.
I pray that God takes your feelings of being a along away and encourages those around you to help... but you must allow them to help also.
You are useful and I pray that God will help you know when to relax and when to push forward. Amen

Well, if not eating those things stops the reaction, you have a choice on medication. And, knowing what they give to "heal" the problem, you really want to keep up on what the medication does. Nexium seems a mainstay for GERDs, but I can't help thinking God gave us digestive juices for a reason, so stopping them for long periods of time isn't good either.

What we often do is create food that's kind of like what we can't eat, minus the thing that makes us sick. Can't eat ice cream? How about sorbet? (Stay away from citrus sorbets.) Can't eat a chocolate bar? How about brownies with powdered, sugar semisweet chocolate? There are ways to work around it. It even feels like we do eat read meat, because we have meatballs, meatloaf, and burgers. They're just made out of ground turkey instead. (Just can't figure out how to make a kielbasa without fat. I don't think it's doable. lol)

Kielbasa and sauerkraut. Potato's too. Maybe some peas also, if they are fresh.
