What do you think of scheduling prayer times with our groupies? We can bring our own prayer requests or go through this forum to see what needs praying for.

Great idea!
Wouldn't it be wonderful if each member before going to any other forum started their day choosing a prayer request or 2 and uplifting a brother or sister? Think of the impact and direction it would make on the site.

Exactly! Where 2 or 3 are gathered in His Name... :) I'll try and bump this thread up, whenever I'm free to stay in the prayer room. If anyone wants to pray with someone, or just need someone to agree in prayer, that works too.

If we were doing as Christ instructed, the prayer forum would be the most used and the Bible discussion forum would be crickets

How do you know that people aren't praying for others before and after they get on the CC? When I see someone who has a need for prayer, I do what Jesus said, I literally go to a closet that I have reserved for prayer and include them. You know what they say about assumption!

That's true and I acknowledge that. It's just that God calls us to fervent prayer, yet most all you see here is fervent debate ;)

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. A person who prays a lot, cannot hide himself, even in the forums. :)

I lift up my friend and Church brother and his daughter who lost their wife/mother to cancer last week. She was a courageous woman who battled 10 yrs and spread the gospel and love of God wherever she went. Her husband said she had a smile on her face as she passed. Please pray for him (Rick) and daughter (Katrina).

Isn't it just as easy for people to come to this forum and go down the page and post a reply to the prayers here? That's what I do..lol.. I rarely go to the chat rooms unless I need a mod.

Yes, I think that's what almost everyone does and that's a great thing. I do go to the chatrooms. They're actually good. Also praying together in chat, is also a great thing :)

The chat rooms, especially the Lounge, disappoint me. Every time I go in there and ask a question, I get ignored. Ppl carry on with their convo and don't answer me until I do this: color and capitalize my question CAN SOMEONE ANSWER ME PLEASE? lol.. :)

A lot of people just visit the prayer rooms and don't really pray. I find it hard to believe each person actually does say a prayer when going through the forum. I think it's more them trying to offer advice. A prayer chat, you would (hopefully) actually have people praying live.

Lol. That happens. A. Lot. I rarely stay in lounge. I enjoy the bible study room, especially when Chris leads the bible study. It's usually when the rest of the world is asleep when I get to visit lol.

Prayer room, aka afk room. :) I'm guilty of that. I go there and afk, minimize my chat window and only come back when I hear bling. People actually do pray in there, most of the time. But there are quiet times (afk times) and sometimes, people just fellowship too. :)

That awkward moment when I was referring to prayer rooms as the prayer forum.
