Depression

My faith has been a lot better the past few months but my depression is keeping me from being happy. I currently live with my parents and my mom and I do not have the best relationship. Raising my daughter is also difficult some days and I sometimes feel like I have no one to turn to. I'm having trouble finding a job but I do feel it's not meant for me to have one right now. I just wanted to know if you guys would pray for my strength and faith. Encouragement is really what I need.

Gemmy, Just want to give you some encouragement along with the other prayers posted here on your behalf. Lord Jesus, I lift up Gemmy to you in prayer & ask you Lord to meet her every need. Lift this heaviness from her "mind" & renew her joy in You. Lord whatever she is needing right at this very moment in her life, I ask you Lord to fill that need with your healing presence. Lord, I don't know that reasons for this depression that Gemmy has been dealing with for a while, but I ask you Lord to bring your healing touch to her body, soul & spirit. Lord, you have only Good things planned for her & her daughters future, as your word says, that You have come that we might have "Life" & have it more Abundantly. Show Gemmy your Love & Peace, and take her by the hand & lead her into the fullness of your Love daily. Bring healing, Hope & Peace!! In Jesus name...

Hello there. The reason I say I believe it's not meant for me to have a job is because I have no money to pay for childcare . Most jobs here want you have to have childcare situated before applying. I just don't have the money or anyone I can really trust to keep my daughter other than my parents and sister but they all work full time during the day. I've had interviews but they never end well. I also don't usually have a sitter when I have an interview so I end just not even going. There was a place I applied to that would've hired me but I had no sitter or bus money. When I told the interviewer, they told me they would probably not reschedule my interview and they didn't. I'm trying but it's not as easy as some people make it out to be. School seems to be all I really have going for myself right now but I don't start until January.

Well, you're certainly in a catch-22 situation (can't get a job because you can't afford child care, can't afford child care because you can't get a job) but that doesn't mean it's not meant to be. It just means you have a tougher time at it. Yet others are doing it. I'll pray that God releases funds to break this cycle for you.

Hello blue_ladybug I read your posts and they were very inspiring. I know I can't give up. I need more positive stuff to hold onto when I'm feeling down. I enjoyed your posts and your courage and faith is awesome

Take a look at my faith book in Miscellaneous forum. You could make one for yourself.. And thank you, I try to have strong faith and courage. Hang in there, things WILL get easier.
