Had to put down my long time friend tonight. My dog of 14yrs. He'd been by my side,even traveled with me when I was in ministry. He was shy around other people but was always closest to me. Cried a lot of tears into his fur. He took a bad seizure and I tried to save him...anyway I feel stupid for posting but in need of prayer tonight. Thanks

Please don't feel stupid! Dogs become a part of our lives, hearts, and families. Having to cope with the loss of any loved one is hard. I'll definitely keep you in my prayers tonight and I'm sorry for your loss! :(

Thank you so much. He took a seizure and I tried to get him to come out of it,clearing his throat but he couldnt come out of it. Just was sad how he had to go that way. Guess Im still in shock. He's been almost a confident,he was a faithful old friend.I appreciate your prayers.

The promises God made to the lion and the lamb apply to the puppies and kitties too. Your furry friend, like all your lost loved ones, is waiting for you on the other side.

Praying for kaylagirl...
Jesus heal her heart that is in sorrow now...because she had to lose her best kanine friend of 14 years.
Be with her thru her sadness. So she will smile again.

No that is his daughter. Thankfully I bred him about 3yrs ago. Thanks for remembering that! And for the song. Here is my old boy....

Thank you all,it means a lot.I have a friend that has made a box for him and I will lay him to rest under a tree in my back yard. Still hard to believe my old boy and closest friend is gone.
