Prayers for the Pain to Ease

Besides my RA, which is still not under control, I have a neck injury that is killing me, and the outside bone in my right foot keeps dislocating and the pain is unbearable. I have been using crutches to get around, but that has not helped much.

Please pray that this pain will lessen. It's been 11 months of the worst pain I have ever endured, and I am getting worn out from it. I'm taking a lot of pain meds, but sometimes the pain is so bad,I can't bare it. I often wake in the night crying from the pain, or my crying in my sleep will wake my husband and he will gently wake me and try and help me if he can.

Thank you for all the prayers. I am improved this morning. I just hope things will improve to the point where I can start functioning and doing things again.

I know God is in control, and he does hear the prayers of God's people.

Oh, Jesus! We are so grateful to you for the cross where every burden we have is defeated! We love you, Lord Jesus, and we know your will is for us to be healed! I lift before you the heart's cry of my sister, Angela concerning her painful condition of RA and her painful problem with her foot. In your name, Jesus, I command healing to begin in her body, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. I break any agenda against her health from the enemy of God to bring hurt, pain and hindrance to her life! You bore deep, scarring stripes for our diseases, Lord, and so in every slash to you, every disease and adverse health condition has been dealt with on the bloody cross. In faith we hold to that truth and claim healing for this dreadful RA in sister Angela!

Do your thing in her body, Lord. We will give you all the glory and praise!

Oh Angela, I am so sorry to hear you are in such pain! Dear Holy Father, I pry, in Jesus name, that You would ease Angela's pain. Let her get good, refreshing, sleep. Please heal her of these terrible afflictions. Thank you Father

Father G-d of mercy and grace, please bring healing to Angela. I pray that you bring healing to her body soul and spirit. I pray Lord, that you show her the answers to the questions she holds deep in her heart. I pray lord, that as she goes through this time of testing that you let her feel you near and that you hold her as she weeps. Amen

I want to thank everyone again for all these heart felt prayers. Thursday night things were so bad that I wanted the pain to STOP at any cost! Even if it meant dying. On Friday, I found a new drug, anti inflammatory with some strong pain killing abilities. (Although technically I am allergic to it!) I took it with Bendryl and it helped everything! It lasted a full 24 hours.

It is a cover up till the biologic starts working, but I am so grateful God heard these prayers and I am getting a break!

Lord we thank you for the answer to pray already given. It excites us all
and blesses us all at the amazing things you do for each one of us.

Lord heal Angela, take away these problems from her body. We want
Angela to be blessed in 2016 we want next year to be pain free for her.
Show her the plans you have for her, declare your love to her.

Lord you say to us freely you have received, freely give. I have been
blessed with so much answered prayer this year and I declare Angela
will too, because it is stated in your word that greater is he that is
in us than he that is in the world.

Lord help us to be people of faith, passing on what we know, freely
giving because you have given so much to us.

Angela you are an amazing woman of God, he knows your thoughts,
your weaknesses and your strengths. He knows of your battles, and
God loves you for continuing to press in and continuing to walk with
Him despite the difficulties.

Angela, how have you been??

i had shingles 5 times. The first time I had it 5 months, and I had to go on Famvir for a month. I will admit I could not sleep for more than a few hours at night, and I would put an ice pack on the shingles and tie it on to sleep a few minutes.

But RA is MUCH, MUCH worse. That's all I can say. It is in 100 joints, and I literally cannot get out of bed, dress or feed myself if I am not on heavy meds.

I will say thanks to all who have asked. My body seems to be having a giant tug of war with the meds. Some days are reasonably good, and other days I cannot get out of bed. I was supposed to play in the worship band on Sunday, and my hands were frozen and curled up and I could not get out of bed to phone someone on the team to tell them I was not coming.

I saw my rheumatologist today. I got off all prednisone, and I was in adrenal failure. So back on, and going down a mg at a time, per month. He says I may never be able to get off of it.

Last week, I was able to go for a walk for 20 minutes and I was good, if a little stiff the next day, since I have done so little the last month. That was Friday. Today, a lot of pain, but back on the prednisone should help.

I am just trusting God, although last night I admit I was pretty mad at God, for all this unending, body wracking pain. God told me to listen to music, and by the time I had finished listening to a few really meaningful Christian songs, like Psalm 23 by Keith Green, I was feeling emotionally well enough to go to sleep, after reading my bible.

Please pray for me that I don't go off the deep end again, when the pain gets bad. Right about now, I'm not too hopeful that the pain is going to go away.
