Hello, it has been a while but prayers help so much. A couple of years ago I asked for prayers for my beloved husband, David. http://christianchat.com/prayer-requests/51097-prayers-my-hubby.html

He did so much better due to prayers, but in October 2015 he was involved in a horrible car accident and now he is with the Lord, and our son and I are left behind. I am suffering from depression and I feel awful that our son is going to grow up with out a daddy which he needs so so badly.

Sister, I pray you are connected to a fellowship so that your son can be influenced by godly men.

Father, we lift up this sister in her time of loneliness and ask that you would uphold her with your Holy Spirit. Weeping endures for the night but joy comes in the morning, allow your Son to become her morning and give her a fresh sense of purpose to fulfill your call on her life. Surround her and her son with fellow believers who can be the family of God we are called to be. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers us out of the all, bless the Holy Name of Jesus we pray

You're supposed to be depressed. Please don't claim depression as if you will be stuck in it forever. You have a very good reason to be depressed. Trust it's okay to be depressed for now and for some time to come. You can't get out of it without going through it.

And, your son isn't growing up without a father. He has the Creator of the Universe as his father. That hasn't changed, but you need to help him understand the significance of that more. You will need to find Godly men to bring into his life, so he can experience what it is to be a Godly man. Just be careful that what they say equals what they do.

It's not your fault that you are in this position. Bring the fault where it is supposed to be -- to God. It's his fault, and yet he has done this for your good, for your son's good, your husband's good, and for his glory, just like he promised in Rom. 8:28.

Lord, give your comfort to 2011. Give her a clear sense that you're in all this and taking her where she didn't want to go. Let her understand why this was to be for her good one day, but, meanwhile, let her know it's okay to be depressed about losing her best friend/husband. Let this be something that draws her to you even more, and give her that comfort she needs in the process. In Christ's name. Amen.

My heart breaks for your situation. Praise Jesus that you are relying on Him and your brothers and sisters in Him to lift you up.

I lost my father at 16 and my mother had all 5 of us still home at that time. The Lord strengthened her during that time and I'm sure He will do the same for you.

Dear Father, Abba, we cry out to You to please help this woman and her child endure this trial. In Jesus Holy name I pray.

Lord you are a father to the father less, let you be the father of this child, and also bless his mom, with your peace, and comfort, Lord they need you, be with them, and help them in every step of their life, Lord you know what is best for them, please help them. Lord we donot know what to pray for them , but we bring them to your loving arms, please take care of them, yes Lord, bless this child and mom, in Jesus name, Amen!
