"He has the flu"

Someone in another room in the ICU was hacking. John asked if I could hear it. (Everyone could.) Then he said the guy has the flu.

He went on to tell about his nurse, who has only had the flu once in his life and as an adult, so didn't ever gain sympathy for flus until then. Since then, he gets flu shots, because he said even his hair hurt. lol

So, I asked John, "Yeah, but what else is wrong with that guy besides the flu?"

"Nothing. It's that bad."

So prayers for the guy in another room with a flu so bad it lands him in the ICU. I've heard the news tell about people who get it that bad, but always thought it was because something else was wrong. No, sometimes the flu gets that bad!

prayer for john's roommate healing for his recovery. thank you God that lynn heard of it so your servant was able to sound the need in prayer.

Lord I pray and ask you to look after John, Lynn's Husband and also that man with the Flu. I'm finding I pray to you more each day Lord.
