Hi need help[/h]
I posted this earlier today in the new member chat. I need prayer and I want to pray for others.

My name is Jason and I was raised in church, but I fell away. I just went through a terrible divorce. I don't have any kids. I'm 40 years old and I have a girlfriend who I will marry. I just got suspended from my job Friday and I won't know if I still have it until today or tomorrow. My girlfriend has two boys and one is a special needs child. I really need this job to provide for my family. I have always suffered from depression and thoughts of suicide. I'm afraid to be alone. I need prayer really bad. Please somebody pray for me. God forgive me never been good at prayer but I'm trying and I will pray for others also.
Thank you

Dear Lord, calm this man's Spirit. Make him understand that YOU are in control. Help him with his employment situation. In Jesus name.

Jason, knowing only what you've told me, I would say that loneliness is not really an appropriate reason to marry. If you JUST WENT through a divorce, perhaps it would be best to step back and focus on the Lord.

[h=1]Matthew 6:33King James Version (KJV)[/h]33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Since you just went through the divorce, because you are afraid to be alone, and because you already consider this woman and her kids your family, I'd suggest stepping back and deal with yourself. You're not doing anyone any good jumping into the next thing, especially given this woman has a special-needs child. You're creating a recipe for a disaster -- aka divorce #2.

Dear Lord, I pray for Jason, that you fill his heart and mind with the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding. Let any thoughts of suicide, any negative thoughts flee. May he think upon only good thoughts, whatever is true and lovely. We know that Lord you are a God who provides, and if you care to feed even the birds in the sky, you will take care of Jason and family. Lord, please provide all the financial needs Jason needs, and all that he needs. Thank you Lord, we thank you for this day, For this day to be alive. May you protect Jason's mind, and that He will place his trust in Jesus Christ. For if you have given your precious son Jesus Christ to us, what more would you not give us if we ask of you? For you care for all our needs. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name.

Jason, Just always know first & foremost that Jesus Loves You!! He will guide you in every area of your life. He will show you his ways, and renew all things in your life. Non of us can walk this journey victoriously without the Lord, as we are all in need of a savior to carry us all through life, as Jesus says... John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and spend time in the word daily. This is where your faith & inner spirit will grow strong in the Lord, by spending time with the Lord. He will provide your needs, as you put your trust in Him. Lord, bring peace to Jason & bring the provisions needed in his life. Cover his family & draw Him close to you Lord. Strengthen every area of His life, as Jason put all his Trust in You. In Jesus name...

Jason, I see you are here right now so just wanted to share a bit that has brought me through so many great challenges in my life.
Stop looking at the problems, and look to Jesus.
Sometimes we become so overwhelmed we forget to do this, and it is truly the most important thing we can do when facing many difficulties.
For when we look only to our problems, we fail to look toJesus, and in doing so, often fail to see the great answers, comfort and streangth that His is giving us.
Anyway, just wanted to share that with you. :)
Ill be praying for you and all needed in Jesus.

God bless

Heavenly Father, I pray for Jason, that if it is your will he would not loose his job or if he does you would bring along something better. We pray for his relationship and for his depression we ask that he would have a real sence of your peace in everything. In the name of Jesus Amen

It's not loneliness. I've always had a connection with her. She has 2 boys and one of them is a special needs child. I couldn't see my life without them. We've been dating for over a year and a half. We will get married soon.
