I was unable to sleep at all Monday night. Tuesday night, was blessed to get 4-5 hours of sleep, but the next day, I was so tired and exhausted because I haven't caught up on my rest. Please pray that this very frustrating sleeping problem goes away soon. Praying for God's healing in Jesus' name, Amen.

Oh, Blain, I am so sorry to hear that you are having sleep problems too. How long have you had problems? Mine started Monday night. My issue is, except for four hours sleep that I got Wednesday, I have not slept AT ALL since then.

I'm trying to post under each of your names, but I can't seem to get it to work. But thank-you to each of you, I truly appreciate your prayers. This has never happened to me before, and the devil has been trying to put thoughts of death due to insomnia in my head. But I gotta resist that. I feel so scared right now.

Lifting you in prayer Pam
I was reading your posts
I think everyone has problems sleeping at some point and time
No need to fear the devil! Not when you love and trust God. Please cast all your fears aside. Especially of death. In Jesus we never die. But yes, not only does the devil lie, but his servants do too.
Well I got sick of it! And I gave it ALL to Jesus.
I sleep better than I used to.
I will pray...
Dear Lord please soothe Pam's mind.
In all Your love and peace
Give her that reassurance that she doesn't have to be afraid.
In Your name we pray

Best dreams Pam...
Try reading Psalms...
They are beautiful and very uplifting...soothing
God bless you

That's not the devil. That's reality. Not sleeping at all does cause death. It is likely to cause such serious mental problems first that you don't have to worry about death. (Someone will take you to the hospital by then, and then they will make sure you do sleep.)

Little sleep we can live with for quite some time. (We're miserable, but we can live with it.) No sleep is another issue. I write this on Friday afternoon (EDT.) If you are still only living on Wednesday's little bit of sleep by now, see your doctor this afternoon. Because you do not want to face a whole weekend without sleep and without easy access to medical help.

A friend of mine went catatonic after a week of absolutely no sleep. She was close to death. Fortunately, the hospital she was put in gave her something to sleep and she recovered quickly. That's what no sleep does to you.

Lord Jesus, I lift up Pam to you in prayer, that you would bring your rest into her body. Cover her mind throughout each day & take away any anxiousness she is feeling. Restore her sleep once again. In Jesus name.... I agree, reading Psalms before closing your eyes is a good way to bring our minds & soul at rest. Jesus see's every struggle we go through 24/7, and He listens to every prayer need we have. We are never left to face our perils alone, but sometimes the Lord allows us to go through difficult things, even a lack of sleep. I had gone through a season of almost no sleep, following a surgery about seven years ago. I don't think I was even sleeping two hours a week & it wasn't easy trying to get through the responsibilities of each day while almost at a complete exhaustion, but the Lord restored my sleep finally. I did read Psalms often during that time & prayed a lot. Jesus is faithful no matter what we face in life. I think many of us can certainly relate to a period of time where sleep was a issue in our lives.
