Hi everyone.

Could you please pray for me to gain wisdom, knowledge and understanding in relation to the scriptures.

I know I can't understand anything without the power of the Holy Spirit. I have been studying some very difficult passages and am frying my brain.

Please pray that God would reveal the true meaning of the scriptures to me.

Thankyou.

:)

Sharp,

I'll pray for this issue tonight!

Just curious: what passages are you studying?

---
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deuteronomy 6:7

I've come across some difficult truths in my searching. We always give God the benefit of the doubt when we come across these difficult truths. After further review some of them had a different meaning than I initially thought.

I will pray for you.

I understand what you speak to. Many times on first seeing these truths one can feal betrayed or very discouraged. Sometimes even wondering if they knew anything at all .
But faith and trust in the word of God Our Father does open eyes and heart to his message and truth.
We must set aside what we want God Our Father to be , and accept all through Jesus Our Lord and savior. As he said no one can come to the father eccept through me. Trust in his Holy Spirit. These difficult truths are often the greatest pearls. The ones that we cannot will ourselves or see on our own, but revield as God Our Father wills.
Joy is accepting his truth, despite what you want it to be, even if the sorrow also must be accepted.
Praying for you as well.
Smiles and God bless, pickles

Lord God we come in the name of Christ Jesus, Lord for we know that you said that the begining of wisdom is the fear of you Lord, and your people will perish for a lack of knowledge, and that in all our getting, get understanding, Lord you said that if any man seek wisdom let him ask you, and you will give it to him liberly and unbraided not. Lord he is not here seeking fame or fortune, but what is good for life and godlyness, the truth and the revelations of your Word, which only you can give by your Holy Spirit. Lord stir up the Holy Ghost in thy son that everytime he open up your Word to sit at your feet to learn of you, he will hear you speak, he will listen with his spirit and receive with his heart. Lord open his spiritual eyes and ears that he will see what you are saying and hear what you want him to do. Lord you said that your Spirit will lead him and guide him into all truths... And your Word is truth and life,,, Give him this life and it more abundantly that it will flow from his belly as living waters. Lord you said if he ask you will answer him, if he seek, he shall find, knock and it will be open unto him, hunger, he will be feed, and if he thirst you will give him to drink. Lord he is knocking , seeking, asking, hungering, and thirsting after you Lord God and your righteousness, Bless him Lord with the Spirit of enlightment: holding back no good thing from him as he seek you for sound doctrine, and for all thy truths. Father I ask that you let him not ever be decieved , neither let him receive a lie as he seek your truths. as you reveal to him your mysteries, secrets, and the power of your Word, anoint him to walk in your Word; that he will be a doer and not a hearer only. and the life he will live will be Christ living in him. Lord thank you for blessing him with thy favor, for he seeketh a good thing from you, keep his heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit from ever doing evil with what you are about to bless him with, and keep him protected as he pour out in love what you are pouring into him. Great and Awesome; Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding... like none he has ever experianced before. use him Lord God, for thy Gloryand for thy praises. in the Holy name of Christ Jesus I pray,,,, Amen.
