Friends, I am feeling unwell and restless now, as I was exposed to the day time heat waves, because I had to go out for some work. You can pray that I feel refreshed and ok.

thanks everyone

Take it easy tomorrow, if you can. It's supposed to reach 112 degrees (Fahrenheit).

Yes, levi. dont wait til ur thirsty because sometimes we do not know we are already dehydrated. Ah and i was reading on jicama, a common snack food we had as children, munching on this juicy root like when we went hiking, i remember. A serving gives 44% DV vit c, which i never imagined, because it was just like... water we chewed on!

Hi Levi, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Remember to drink at least ten glasses of liquid a day. It will replace lost fluids. May God comfort you as you heal. Blessings.

Father God, we lift up to you now our dear brother Levi, who has been so faithful in his prayers for others, Lord, we now ask in prayer for him that You restore his health and vitality, Lord, give him the energy and strength to do what he needs to do as he moves through the responsibilities of his day, Lord, and please lessen the heat and aridity of his homeland, Lord, freshen the earth and air with rain and cool breezes that everyone may be at ease in the conditions they live. Father we also pray for any that Levi is especially concerned for at this time, that they be restored as needed, and learn to trust ever more faithfully in You, Lord, for you hung the stars in the sky, know every hair of our heads, and hold the future in Your capable loving and ever merciful hands. In Jesus precious name we pray, amen.

I am so sorry Levi, I thought I had looked on here, I must need glasses, I hope you are feeling better soon. Get a hat, a big one if finances allow, I will pray though, and for a hat as well.
God bless.

You are familiar w/ the singkamas, are u not, whatever its called there? I am reminded of this again, bec. it is Not a very attractive food but I saw this uneaten jicama again here, and it tends to grow a long vine when u do not consume it right away, and so I have put one in the soil outside to grow I hope.

The white flesh of singkamas is crunchy and very juicy. In the Philippines, singkamas is usually eaten raw with white rock salt.
The plant is a vine with the scientific name Pachyrhizus erosus, but it’s the bulbous root that springs to mind when people say singkamas. It has a thin brown skin that you can easily peel off with a sharp knife. The flesh is crisp and its texture is similar to that of a water chestnut.

You can even peel with ur hands and bite--or drink directly=).

Yes, don't be delicate. Stay hydrated by eating watermelon, oranges, grapes tomatoes,mangoes.....and try to avoid direct sun rays.

See how unattractive the drying root looks like.. but when u soak it in cold water or make into som salads and bite thru the slices,' it can be so refreshing, just as cucumbers are to many.

hope u are better, and coping.
