I realize that this may be a touchy subject, but I'm concerned that maybe things are so bad because we Christians have let it got that way? I read in the news this morning that a child (presumably an illegal), was holding a sign saying "make America mexico again", and another child was spewing out profanities at an officer, I believe, while the croud was protesting a Donald Trump rally. My concern and question is: how could children harbor so much bitternes, hatred, resentment and anger towards their fellow man??? How could a child, American or not, come to such an ugly conclusion that Americans and the like, are his enemies??? Who's fault is that? Our government? I think we, the church of God, need to be more proative. Not that we aren't already, but our country and this world needs us more now than ever before. I believe the third world war will break out on American soil, if the church don't intervene because tensions are running too high. Please, pray and let me know how you feel about children harboring that kind of anger. Thanks.

It is the fault of the parents. If my kid did that he would have a red back end and would be grounded for a number of weeks. On second thought, my kid would never do that because I am raising him to respect people and live a life with Christ in it.

I agree with both posts. Where ARE the parents and why aren't they teaching their kids; and WHY isn't the church stepping in if they see there is a problem? (And I don't mean taking the kids or anything crazy, just talking to and shepherding the parents).

I guess I don't understand how a child can harbor such hatred for people he doesn't know? He's a child. Where have their innocence gone? Instead, they are being taught just how ugly this world have become. I'm not turning a blind eye to the world's ugliness, I see it. But, I do believe we the people are going to pay a high price in the future, for what the children are learning today.

Kids are mean because their parents are meaner. Many kids these days come from broken homes, with a mom who has 5-10 different kids and sleeps around for money, and a dad that has impregnanted several women and is no where to be found. To be honest if I came from a place like that I would have a lot of hate too. Everything wrong with the world today, is because of problems in the homes and families. You fix that, and you fix most of the world.

There is more evil in the world than absentee dad's..the whole child prostitution rings for example....is there more the church could do? Possibly but we must begin in prayer and then implement the plan God gives us to help, solve, the, problems he,has revealed to,us.

It seems impossible when,we try alone...but with God all things are, possible

Family is the original Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. If that falls apart, everything quite literally goes to hell.

The problem is that God has been taken out of schools and that hate breeds faster then a wild fire. The world is in a bad place and God is the only one who can fix this.

When people say pray and God has been taken out of school, everyone immediately thinks that you get thrown out for it. Not true. Its the teachers who cant lead their classes in prayer or read from the Bible. Kids can pray, bring their Bible, etc. though. In a way, teachers not being allowed to bring their religions into the school system is good. If you have a Hindu, or Islamic teacher and she/he read from the "Holy Book" of their choice of religion then you would get mad too.

very true how ever kids do not even say the pledge in school anymore because it may offend someone. So where does that leave the child in school who wants to read his bible at lunch time but will not out of fear of being beat up or shamed or ridiculed about offending someone because he bought his bible to school? I get what you are saying though it is just so hard with all the people making it impossible.
