Still suffering from sexual sin

I won't go into detail but it's not actual sex, nor porn, thank God. But it's definite sexual sin and I need prayer to let God free me from it. It happens, I pray, get forgiven, and am fine for like a few days then the cycle repeats. It's an addiction that I broke years ago and relapsed.


Maybe that's the problem. I took credit for it being gone, thinking it was me and my...willpower? I dunno. It was God. God who gave the strength to say no before.

Please pray for me that He continues to help me do it again. It's a daily battle.

Father God let you set free from the sexual sins, and bless to lead a life worthy for you please bless ArtsiesSteph, and you be glorified, her life, in Jesus name, Amen!

I had that when I was 18 or so. Didn't know if it was sin. Then I read a book that you gave yourself over to a demon of lust when you did that and I didn't even need prayer. That was so disgusting it was over immediately.
I have been in a relationship with a porn addict and then I had it again. Just cut it off with him and told my ex who threw a demon of lust out. T.B. Joshua prays for viewers on youtube too.

Just living your life can be a daily battle. I will certainly say a prayer of deliverance for you.

Have you ever considered getting prayer for deliverance like our brother has suggested through ministry like your local church?
Deliverance isn't scary because the One who is in control God your Father your in his loving hands and he's in control he doesn't let things get out of hand fast pray and ask God where you should go for deliverance deliverance is right throughout the New Testament.

I don't usually share this testimony forgive me Lord for being ashamed of your power the testimony and fearing people's opinions you gave me, well 3-4 years I had a evil desire and entertained it instead of taking those thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ basically I was demonized with a lesbian demon I didn't practice it just had the desires for a month I know that's a really short period but as long as I was willing God healed me as I went to a local healing rooms prayer ministry I couldn't stand that yuck Ness in me and the Lord cast it out of me through the Christians praying over me. My point is as long as you put up with it it'll stay but your redeemed and are bought at a price God's child don't be ashamed to admit hey I need help prayer can you pray for me. The only Silly Christians are ones that don't deal with sin properly. All the best sis let ppl call you what they like and me all I know is God set me free and Im healed from That! Been free since that time Praise God

Oh yeah I had those lesbianism desires in high school, like I had no idea where they even came from. I didn't entertain them I wanted to be rid of them as much as possible but I had no idea how. But I will always remember during a worship service I was so scared and tired and I just let myself sort of break from all the fear and stress of that. God just took all of it right away, delivered me right there.

That's cool artsie so glad I'm not the only one on CC know that's really encouraging to those of us God has set free or struggling who really want to be free.

Lord I ask for you to give my sister a vision of your creative power so she will know that she knows your will, not only to fulfil your will but to understand who and what she is in you. In Jesus name Amen.

I had a decades long sex/porn addiction. I remember wondering why I was still dealing with it even after accepting the Lord. I HATED it, and I HATED more that I enjoyed it while doing it. It finally led to a serious Spiritual crash. I was grieving the Holy Spirit and something had to give.

After a long season of pain, The Lord led me out of that terrible time, and showed me His incalculable Grace. And that those sins were forgiven and remembered no more.

I still have my dead flesh, but my living Spirit, through Christ no longer thinks or dwells on that sin. And I can't imagine going back to it. I still get tempted, like out of the blue a Victoria's secret ad, but because I focus more on Jesus, and am so grateful to Him, the temptation has no power.

The answer is ALWAYS the same with sin. Give it to the Lord and feed your Spirit by getting closer to Him.

Dear sweet Lord, I lift up Steph to You, and ask that You remove the fleshly desires she has, and replace them with an ever increasing desire for You. In Jesus precious Name I pray.

Well besides our prayers, you need help yourself. You may try counselling, or volunteer some Christian NGOs so you mind can get diverted. You can also join some Ministers and get close to God and do God's work. Allow God to build his temple in your heart and remember, you will have to build it for him to stay by your own deeds. Once you put yourself at his service,I'm sure you'll overcome you weaknesses
