Hi Happy,

I saw this today and was thinking about you.

Stroke victims abandoned after they leave hospital as experts attack aftercare | Daily Mail Online

I'm not sure what help or care is in place for your fiancé, but it might be worth
showing this article to your GP and asking about what help should be available and
how to access it. It sounds as though there should be a lot of help in place both for the
pnysical and physiological aspects of a stroke. It might just be a case of asking the right
questions and pushing for the needs of your fiancé to be reviewed.

Thank you miri I am in the uk. just yesterday the main neurologist discharged rod from the services. Yes your right people are being discharged just like that in the uk. Yesterday it was on our tv about how stroke survivors are just not being cared for and being left to cope on their own. Rod feels abandoned by them. just because he's done his own work they think he's good. but its very hard to explain about the phycoligical effects of a stroke. emotions tiredness not getting to stressed etc. Its very upsetting to see rod easily upset and tears. nothing helps him in the uk.

Maybe be it might help if you both speak to your GP and ask for a list of what help is
a available, both for his physical state and mental state.

Sometimes he who pushes the most gets the most, it should it happen this way but
unfortunately it does. Plus God is great at pushing for the best for you. Pray about it
then speak to your GP, I will be praying as well if that is ok with you. :)

Thanks for your concern. Rod is going for a second tummy scan which hes worked up about already, He always says don't say to much about his illness, I cant win sometimes. But Im praying if they do find something in his tummy it can hopefully be sorted out. Its takes time and patience with someone who doesn't like doctors or hospitals. Thanks for praying.x
