Hi friends. My oldest son is 23. He's in the time of his life where he is searching for his spouse. Last year a girl tore his heart out and he took some time the recover. I too had to forgive and recover.
Ive never prayed so hard for a child. God is always good. I know this. He's interning at a local church this summer in order to graduate in the spring. He's a pastoral studies major. He's living at home and Ive noticed solitude and quiet. He's a little withdrawn. More than usual so yes a change of character. I covet your prayers for him. And for the young lady he's waiting on. Thanks.

People often say guys don't feel deeply, but we sure can. And it can take a long time recover. I know this from experience. I'll absolutely be praying for your son. God bless you, sister.

Nothing worse than seeing your child in pain. My sons react in a similar way to yours. I tell them that feelings are temporary. Whether feeling down or happy, they are both temporary. TRUTH is permanent, and the truth is that they are greatly loved by their heavenly Father, as well as many people here on earth. I hope it helps them. Not sure. I will be praying for your son. God bless you.

I'll be praying. There's nothing worse than the feeling of having your heart shattered. I'm sorry he is going through this.

learning to accept God's rule for living one=day=at=a=time is such a huge challenge for all of us...
teaching this to our children is even more of a challenge for us.,,
and so we see that our lives must be lived for Him and in Him every moment,
lest we go the ways of the world...
