Hi prayer warriors,

I have missed church for three weeks now and I am concerned that I may be drifting somewhat.I have heard that the enemy attacks christians who don't stay close to the flock. Please pray for an extra dose of protection till I can get my sleep patterns in order so I can make it to church on a Sunday morning.Prayers are very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mooky.

Hi Mooky, Sometimes we feel the need to please others, if we are in a set routine. Do not be anxious or afraid it's says in the bible. That's exactly what you should do. The lord knows our heart , so you have nothing at all to worry about. Take time out for yourself because your health is important. Pamper yourself, xx Your lovely x☺

I haven't heard that thing about straying from the flock, but I think church is an important part of our lives.

i was physically unable to attend church for over three years... and my church family came to me!

Mooky, Just want to encourage you in the Lord... On the days where you don't make it to church, I want to encourage you to continue to have "church" right from your home. I know there are so many reasons why we simply don't make it to church & its true that if we don't keep ourselves "spiritually fit" at all times, we can easily let our guard down & be an easy target for the enemy. I have been through times where I would miss church three weeks in a row, but I have decided when that happens, I will still have church in my home, just me & the Lord:) I usually will listen to a teaching recorded or on the internet & spend time in the word & remembering to always give praise to the Lord for all the goodness He has blessed our lives with. I really feel the strength in my spirit by spending this time with the Lord on the Sundays that I miss church. I know fellowship is very important for our spiritual growth & staying connected to a church family really is important. I just have realized that if church is missed, I will still have "home church" The enemy cannot enter into your life unless you open the door for him. Keeping your eyes on Jesus & always remembering to have those "quiet times" with the Lord is priceless.
Lord Jesus, I lift up Mooky to you in prayer, that you will help her get the sleep that her body needs. Bring peace to her spirit & may she draw close to you at all times. Protect her from any lies of the enemy & help her to stay strong in You. In Jesus name..
