So I was thinking that sometimes God takes the desire to sin in a certain area, but sometimes He doesn't. If anyone knows me then you probably know what area I still deal with, and the desire to sin is still there when the situation arises.
could part of our issue as humans be that we expect to not have desire to sin once saved, or rather we a think God would, take it away? Like I said, sometimes He does, but doesn't sometime He not? Is it that we give ourselves s the excuse of "well if God took the desire away I wouldn't do this"? Isn't that sort of the inverse of "the devil made me do it"?
i dunno, just spitballing.
