I am getting a bit discouraged. I don't know what's wrong. I am in the midst of crises and I pray for deliverance. Either God wants me to wait, it's not His will, or it's just a plain no. I read my bible, pray, sing worship music, attend church 3 times a week, and do my best to put Him first in my life. I do these because I want to serve Him and I want to not for what I get out of it or that I have to. I have a sin I am wrestling with smoking cigarettes. I have prayed for deliverance and slowed down some. I think that I may not be having my prayers answered because of these things, or my faith is not that strong. I am unsure what the case is. Maybe God is using this time in my life to draw me closer to Him and place more trust in Him. I don't know. I'm not sure what's wrong or if there even is anything wrong. Pray that I get my joy and peace back. I also ask that you pray that my faith be strengthened please thank you.

God says the key is perseverance. Just keep at it. You're going to have days when you feel you are snug in God's lap, and you're going to have days it feels like satan is putting you thru the wringer. And then there'll be other days when the flesh is just weak. And days where it all seems like a war of attrition. Keep your eye on the prize and these ups and downs won't affect you as much. And persevere. Persevere to the end, because you already know how it's going to end!

I'm trying to. It's so hard sometimes. Life can get very hard sometimes. I need comfort from Jesus and at times it feels I'm miles away so to speak. I do my best. I am human and I will fall. I need to not beat myself up over it. Hate the sin love the person. In this case I need to have more love for myself.

I am praying Sir!
I hope you can find the joy that you once knew.
God has a plan for you, and He won't forsake you.
He knows your pain and sadness and longs for your happiness as well.
God bless you♡

Lord Jesus bless rdb. Give him peace. Bring his joy back. Help him to remain strong and most of all to remain faithful to you Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen

From my own experience I know that there are times when he seems far away and your prayers go unanswered. I believe he is testing how strong your faith is and to draw you closer to Him. Main thing to do is trust that what is happening is In His plan for you. Don't push yourself too hard giving up smoking may take some time. Don't expect some things to happen overnight. He does things in His time.
