I simply was trying to find any website I could possibly get answers from actual Christians that know the bible. I simply am not very happy with where I am today. A few years back I was in an unhealthy abusive relationship. After a year apart we've gotten back together and are trying to work on things a little more. Things are much different now and much easier to handle but now the person I'm with has been having heart problems. She'll get really light headed and nearly pass out. I pray all the time about asking god to protect her and watch over us and honestly I just have been feeling so ignored all over again. I'll pray and keep my faith but then something falls through and fills me with so much doubt and anger. I've just been through a roller coaster of emotions these past three years. Ive had my ups and downs and now I'm just so confused and wondering what all this effort in life is for if its just meant to fall through my hands anyway. I just don't know why I should hold on to the same things in life I seem to keep losing and it saddens me that the only thing I might experience in life is a river of loss and pain. I have no one really to speak to. So I hope that someone can tell me what this could mean and why its happening. Specifically because the first year we had been together and things were so a busive a stranger had stopped me just to tell me I was a blessing. She told me not to forget..it just seemed as though she had a vision of me. But yet I forget nearly every day what it was she said. How could it mean anything when all I see is alot of hurt and misfortune. I just don't understand. So I hope someone hears this and can pray for me. Maybe there's someone around who's prayers are much stronger than mine. I pray nearly every night and always feel like god only hears half or just sets me aside for later and its not fair. All everyone wants is to be fulfilled and now that me and my lover have been on good terms it just seems the devil wants to still take things away from me or that god just doesn't want me to have good things.

You are walking as you see fit, instead of seeking the Lord on His will for your life. Is it any wonder it is in shambles? True peace is found as you walk in the path the Lord has set. He loves you dearly, you are a pearl. He showed me a pearl and many horses shooting out from underneath it. He also showed a pearl as a spider came from underneath it and it attacked the pearl and cracked it. It seems to me you have a choice to make and you could be a blessing to many or continue in the path you have set... cracked.
The Father truly loves you, dearly. You think that He is out to punish you, but in actuality He wishes to shepherd your life, guide and protect you as like a lamb. Remember, Jesus came to save not condemn the world. The Lord cares for the well-being of both you and the one you love. It very well may be His will for you to separate from this person, and as hard as it might be it is for the better. If you truly care for this person, separation may be the most loving thing to do so that they may walk uprightly and in God's righteous standards so that they may live a life with a sense of fulfillment.
Are you into charity or giving? Maybe in this way you are meant to be a blessing. I get a feeling you love kittens and cats. Animals in general, it seems. It kind of just perforates your heart, pierces. I am not sure why that was highlighted but you'll know. I hope this ministers to you in some way. Seek the Lord and His plans for your life. In that you will find joy and peace. VVhere you are now you have experienced what your own decisions lead to, so why don't you try God? God bless.

All sin has the ability to distort our proper view of God, others and for ourselves and the situations that we put ourselves in will be deceiving us to think that everything is ok. It's not and there is a great, higher life available to all of us no matter what sin we are currently deceived by. This goes from practicing homosexuality to slandering people.
My admonishment to the OP is to seek the Lord Jesus Christ only and be at least willing to do whatever He says to you. If you are willing - He supplies the grace you will need to walk out His life in you. This will ensure that you walk free of anything and everything that is distorting your views on the Lord, others in your life, as well as yourself.
His true love will be what brings about the life that we all crave and yet we sometimes try to get that life from sources that do not have the capacity to give us what we truly need.
Jesus said that you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. It's all in knowing the true heart of our Father and be willing to let your life be governed by His Spirit which is inside of us that have received Christ.
This brings about the manifestation of the love you are really looking for which you can never find in another person.

That being said, the sins I've committed are just as bad and God ain't going to bless us to keep on rebelling against him. God just ain't going to intercede to make a homosexual relationship work just like he ain't going to give my wife back if I don't learn to serve her.

You're still in an abusive relationship. It may be from her too, but you have a lot of self-abuse too. There is a reason God is against homosexuality. It's demoralizing.
So, how about seeking God, instead of seeking "faith" or "prayer?"
Prayer is most effective when you come to the real God as a beggar. You're in need. Need of him. Desparate need. You need his love and mercy. Ask him for that in the depth of your despair, and then watch him change you to someone good.
