Hurricane Matthew

I have relatives down in Florida, where huuriacan is sopposed to hit. They evacuated their house and went to jaxonson. Its still spoosed to be pretty bad there.
I also would like to pray for all the other countries and people who have been hit by Mathew.

Lord, I wish to pray for all the victims of hurricane Matthew. I pray that you will watch over them, and help them through this. In Jesus's name, amen

No one should be evacuating TO here, people are trying to leave jax. I filled my gas tank, have water and leftover water purification tablets, packed my bag and my dog's bag, moved some important items into my broom closet/bathroom/clothes closet (because of no windows) everything is charged including portable chargers. My building should hold up, even with being in an evacuation zone but I'm driving to Gainesville tomorrow if I lose power.

Very eerie here though.

A few of my neighbors who haven't left took in some shelter animals just for the weekend, my dog has been so excited to hear all the extra barking today, she practically skips when I take her out

Over on the treasure coast. Shutters are up and I'm staying. The storm is supposed to hit my area later this evening and into the morning. The island and beach areas were under mandated evacuation. I know some people here went to one of the shelters here or my church. Praying for my area along with those in the other counties and states. Also praying for those in the caribbean and in Haiti. It devastated Haiti, killing over 100 people last I heard.

Thank you Huglife for making this thread. People should be taking this seriously. All the prayers help.

I'm glad I'm not there atm, but I do have lots of people I care about in the area. Port St. Lucie, Melbourne, etc. No good. :S

yes Lord, please protect and save all the people on the path of Hurricane Matthew. Lord be with them and help them as they are hit by Hurrican Matthew, and are going to suffer, Lord please bless all those people, we also pray for relatives of Huglife in florida, please be with them ,and help them, in Jesus gracious name, Amen!

All is fine here. Didn't lose power thankfully. A lot of people did. Some people had pretty bad damage but over here just minimal. Be praying for northern Florida and Georgia and the Carolinas, as they are going to get some impact.

Stayed here. Apparently all hotels on the west coast were filled up. People took it seriously.

Still waiting for the bulk of the storm to come through my area in NE FL. Spent my morning working, cleaning, did all my laundry, showered, and just took my dog on her last potty break until tonight.
Just watching and waiting now..

Lord Jesus, I lift up all these families who are in the path of this hurricane, that you Lord would be a refuge in this storm. Cover huglifes family & all who are feeling fear & anxiety, worry. Be their peace Lord, in the mist of all this bad weather, I simply pray for protection! Children, moms & dads, brothers and sisters, friends, parents, grandparent & all pets as well, & all others who I didn't list. May your arms of protection come now Lord... In Jesus name,,,
