I do not know you, or you me. Do you know Jesus personally? I see from your profile you hold a bible, so you will know about Him, but knowing Him is different. I am not trying to embarrass you or make you feel awkward, I truly have your best interests at heart.
"Habitual sin" is why I say these things. We can have no part in Him if we keep sinning, the scriptures are clear on this point. I will ask, is your sin a sin of death or a sin of uncleanness? I also do not want an answer from you. We as men do have things that we are told is a sin. Some (not all) of these things are bought about by conscience. Sexual impurity is one of them. Read your scriptures, all of them not just the new testament. Most of what Paul had was the old, except for the letters he wrote, and it is clear he didn't have copies of them.
If it is an unclean issue then consider this, every time Jesus healed someone, he usually touched them, not always but sometimes. He touched lepers and was touched by those who were, according to the law, 'unclean'. and according to the law Jesus would have been unclean, but He never was. When the woman with an issue of blood for 18 years touched Him, it says "virtue" went from Him and Jesus felt this happen.
Throughout His life until His death, Jesus was doing the Fathers will. He never stopped doing it. When he died He said it is finished, and so it was but the work took his whole life and where uncleanness was Jesus bought cleanliness. Jesus touched dead people, He was not made unclean he made them clean and raised them. He touched lepers, they did not make Him unclean, He made them clean.
The parable of the Samaritan, just think about it, The priest would have passed by on the other side because helping the wounded man would have made them unclean, he was wounded and therefore had an issue of blood. Jesus was making a point, "I would have mercy not sacrifice".
And so it is with us, Jesus in us makes us clean. but you need to read the law of Moses completely and see what makes a man clean or unclean. These things are what Jesus converted from the old Law of sin and death to the new Law of love and grace.
If it is a sin worthy of death, then you need to get into Jesus presence at the foot of the cross and see what He has to say about it.
God bless.
