My friend has been married almost 20 years and has 4 children. She and her husband married when they were 22. In june this year, her husband decided he no longer wants to be married, and does not want to work on saving their marriage. Please pray that the Lord softens his heart. Please pray that God salvages their marriage. Thank you CCers.

Lord Jesus, I lift up this marriage to you in prayer, that you would bring your presence within this home. Lord you are more than able to work wonders, even in impossible situations. I pray for this husband, that you Lord would lead him into truth. Bring divine intervention, and may he recognize the beauty of a marriage covenant. I pray that whatever is broken & in disrepair within this marriage, that you Lord will heal & restore this couple's love. Take the blinders off his eyes, and soften his heart. Lord now we pray Lord, work in the husband, and wife's life, and bring them together, and restore their marriage, and let you be glorified in this family. Lord change her husband's decision to leave her. Everyone goes through hell and high water. We did. And still do now and then. I could fill volumes that would take up all the space at the local library.
I do not understand how people can flipantly throw away marriages like taking the trash out once a week. That was never an option for me.
