My dad's father has just been rushed to the hospital. He has a lot of pain in his chest. Considering that he's 90 years old, doctors believe his heart will soon stop working.

The really sad thing is that he isn't christian. A little prayer would be appreciated.

Thank you very much!

At the moment, he is being examined. They went into his heart to look (don't know the name in English), but we haven't got any result yet. The doctors will keep him at intensive care.

I appears that in his heart, the 'wall' between two rooms of the heart has collapsed. That causes a lot of pain and bad blood-pressure things. At his age, doctors aren't sure they can heal it. They'l probably decide on monday to operate, after extra tests. Chances for survivel are rather small.

My parents are visiting him now at intensive care.

I'm sure He has a plan with everything. I just hope my grandfather will accept Jesus in his life. That is the most import decision he should make!

Thank you Pickles!

They just called from the hospital, with some bad news. My dad and mom are expected at 7 pm to say goodbye. They took an echo from his heart, and it appears that his final hours are here.

Dear friends,

I have a wonderful news. The doctors have decided to stop giving morphine to my granddad. His kidneys have stopped working now, and they stopped keeping him alive 'artificially'. Because of that, he wasn't unconcious anymore. My dad visited him. They had a conversation about Jesus.

My granddad realises he'll pass away soon. He told my dad he asked God to forgive him.

Although I won't see him anymore, this news made me happy.

Thank you for your payers :) I hope I'll see him again!

Visited my granddad today. Doctors had strange news: The condition of my granddad has improved (!) (Ok, not that he can leave intensive care department, but improvement is good). Heart and kidneys are working within the 'normal' limits.

More important, he was 100% awake, and feeling good! He could even smile. When I entered the room, I said Hello. First question he asked: 'How's the flying with the volcanic ashes? Did you fly?' :) :)

My dad could talk about Jesus, and it was a genuine conversation (I mean, my granddad really asked questions, and listened and told he regrets he didn't listen sooner)

We shouldn't expect him to recover completely (he's 90), but we clearly see Gods help.

I wanna thank you all for your prayers! It means a lot to me :)
