Thank you all for praying for me for a job. The interview I had a few weeks back went well and thank God the company called me back now for a 2nd interview where I have to give a 20min powerpoint presentation on a topic. The presentation is in 2 weeks but just posting this early so that I can have my fellow believers agree with me for strength and direction from God ....and have a backlog of prayers before the day of the interview :) Thanks CC'ers! GBU all!

I have said prayer for you giving an excellent performance of your presentation as you sell yourself as the one to hire for the position. Just think of yourself as a brand that you are offering to the company. It is often a struggle to get back into the workforce in a meaningful and satisfying way. I understand this and pray for God's best for you in this endeavor.

Simon Sinek has a wonderful video on YouTube called start with why.. It's to do with marketing and advertising.. I love nerd stuff so TedX and anything related, I watch.

Thanks guys, it's more of a medical teaching job about teaching medical conditions like high blood pressure to students....and to evaluate my presentation/teaching skills to students by other professors....but either way the prayers are very much appreciated :) Thanks!

Lol thanks for the offer! ;) Yea I've done them before in college....just need to pray for calmness and mental clarity to deliver it....:) and especially practice a ton! especially get the time down to the allotted 20 min....

:D I never really practice it a lot. I learn what I gotta learn and then im ready to go :p Which is good in College especially when one of your classes is ''Project Management'' lol!

Lord you know all things and whether this job is a good job for U.
We ask that you will make the path smooth and give U wisdom in
knowing how to put together this presentation.

We know Lord that if it is the right job but he makes a mess of it, that he will still get
it so we pray you will give U peace of mind.

Hi U just wanted to share this with you.

A friend gave a testimony recently about how she applied for a job and felt it was the
right one for her, but after the interview she starting doubting herself and told God
she didnt want it after all. (It involved prison ministry).

Anyway they rang her and said she hadn't been successful on this occasion but would
keep her name for future jobs. After the phone call she felt really deflated and started
questioning God saying that job should have bern mine shouldn't it. She felt God say yes,
so she started praying she would get the job if another opportunity came up.

10 minutes later they called her back and said they had changed their mind and offered
it to her!

If that job is right for you, then you will get it! :)
