You are blessed yaeger1 in that you have the Lord. You are also blessed that the meds they have are very effective in dealing with this. Please do what you can to stay on your meds & get this regulated. My cousin had schitzophrenia & had a horrible battle with this but it is managable. Unfortunately street drugs were his downfall. You have the Lord! I wish he would have. Do take this seriously & remember this does not define you, it is just something you have to deal with. Bless your heart & I've already prayed for you.

Hi There, I was diagnozed with schizophrenia in 1995. It was a battle at first and I think its so important to have good genuine poeple around you. Also try to gets the right meds, It may take a while before you find the right kind of med. I am on halaperidol but the lower dosage of 5mg, which is just enough for me now. I have been tested so much in my life by mainly poeple and bad attitues . I met my fiance 11 years ago and have never been in hospital since. You will learn how to deal with it better I know. Take you time in doing things, as stress can make us tired. Tell your family or doctor is you feel run down. If you want any info or chat just send me a message. From Mandy xx ps Dont drink alcohol as this makes it worse or take drugs! You are not on your own there are lots of people suffer with it. Send me a message ok xx

Adam, one of my best friends has schizophrenia. It took years for him to find the right combination of medication but when he found it he was able to live in peace. It's not easy and you have a lot of pain before you but it's not impossible to win this out. Pray that God shows you what steps to take to get through this. I will be praying for you as well.

Adam, people thought I was schizophrenic before but I am not. I could be though if I continue the way I am. I believe it's a developed disease.

I would like a prayer said for a friend of mine who has brain injury, bi-polar and schizophrenia. He needs a lot of help in his mind and heart. His name is David.

Hi, There are lots of people with different issues of mental illness, and I think its a very common thing these days. We must never think that we are on our own with this illness. People in this life have all sorts of worries and stressed in their minds, its trusting in the lord that helps and also having someone to talk to also. I think all of us are learning everyday, and with good meds etc things can get better. I hope this helps anyone with an mental illness. Also aviod alcohol and drugs of any kind, be kind to your body in other words. xx

Hello Adam,

You can call me Shae...I could only imagine what you're going through right now but the best thing for you to do is pray.God places us in these situations that we may feel like are huge obstacles but they make us stronger! You never know one day you may be helping a little boy dealing with the same situation as yours.Keep pushing never give up!!!

Zoochy, I've already prayed for David. My brother needs prayer for what I suspect are the same issues (except brain injury). He refuses medication or to seek dr. advice. His name is Dean.
