Hi, I suffer with plantar faciitis and plantar fibromatosis. My mobility is not as good. My fiance got mad this morning calling me down and saying he doesnt do the things he wants to anymore becasue of my mobility. It hurts me so much. He wants to go on long walks ie in the lakes, like we use to etc. I feel so upset this morning. Sometimes I know that to much walking is painful. He says he wants me to have my foot chopped off, and gets so mad with me and frustrated. I feel rubbish now. I am going to try and get a fold up bike. I hate being felt no good. I ask god to give my fiance a peace of mind, and show him that it isnt that bad in life. Hes says he put on weight and blames me , cos he likes to do things with me.

No offense, but your Fiance requires a kick in the backside for talking to you like that. If he died with Christ - as the Bible says we must do to inherit eternal life - then what is he concerned with himself for? Why does he concern himself with his pleasures, wants and desires? If he died to himself with Christ, than it should be his delight to serve God and his future wife.
This is a weak Christianity that he has experienced thus far. I pray that he will see that there is so much more God promises us in this lifetime. Not that I have attained personally, but I do eagerly seek after, for Jesus would not ask us to die with Him if He was unable to make us die.

Hi All, Thanks for your messages. When I wrote the message I felt very frustrated etc. I know its sounded rude of my fiance but later he said all he wants is to do things with me, as he loved my company. I actaully went out and bought a fold up bike, and rode it. I felt like a little girl again, and I felt free. We both use to ride bikes alot ealier and went everywhere with them. But due to where we use to liver we had terrible problems with our neighbours and was always tired through lack of sleep etc. We have now moved and the area we live now is alot better. The bike we bought for me today however was faulty, I was so upset. We are going to tkae it back to the shop and get our money back. My fiance mentioned ages ago that I should get a mountain bike instaed of a fold up bike. The truth of the matter is now I have rode a fold up bike I now know I can ride a bigger bike. I thanks god for giving my a excersise I can do wihtout being in to much pain with my foot. Amen

I went through the same with my hubby, some would say that it was not nice what your fiance said but I understand.
My hubby when he said the things he did ,was just speaking out because he was sad and afraid. He just wanted me like I used to be and did not know what to do. All worked out , and he was sorry for hurting my feelings. The ones that love us get scared and sad because they cannot make us better.
So sometimes they just say the wrong thing.
Instead of a bike my hubby bought me a small electric scooter, I can sit and ride next to him as he walks now.
I often say its not that I cannot do these things, I just have to do them in a different way.

Hi All, You are so kind and the man on the bike in the road made ma laugh! Thanks Pickles, yes its so try what you say about our partners. Yes Rod was very scared of me being different and not being able to walk to much. I have now got another bike which is so much better (mountain bike) and Its gives my feet a big rest, its great! We are back on track me and Rod, and we are just going down the the stream and rod goes on a really old bike and puts our jack (the dog) on a long rope and jack follows him. I am being friendly to all the people who live near me and am taking my time in becoming more confident. I read in todays word for today, not let bitterness of someone that tries to upset you fester, Instead ask god to gaurd youir heart from resentment. Its very true. Guards our hearts before we get upset about someone. Thanks for all youir kind message Love Mandy xx
