Update on seeing my father

So, I saw my father tonight.
It actually went really well.
We started out just sitting and doing the awkward talking thing lol.
And eventually he was just like "Let's dance"
So we danced for two hours, and it actually turned out to be really fun and I was laughing and he was laughing.

Hopefully this is something we can build on

Praise God! I don't know the story, but I know the awkwardness of a missed and missing parent. Praying you have many more such encounters. Blessings. -student

Hello student,
Long story short,
He has been abusive to me and I've ended up having to get an order of protection against him in the past.
So, seeing him last night was just something I hoped would maybe be a step in right direction for us
