Heavenly Father help us to remember that your son Jesus fulfilled the righteous requirements of the law and bore our sins on the cross. You made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him. Romans 8:1-4; 2 cor 5:21; Heavenly Father we thank you that your word says that if we do sin we have an advocate with you, your son Jesus who died for the sins of the world past, present, and future. We thank you that our righteousness is by faith in your son and that it is you who work in us to will and to do according to your pleasure. All our own acts of righteousness are filthy rags in your sight, help us to press on knowing that Jesus Christ is our righteousness. In Jesus name, Amen.
