Our family is going through a very hard time. My husband has Ptsd and it was untreated for 25 years. He recently started therapy for it. It is heartbreaking what he is going through. In October he said he didnt know if he wanted to stay married for the rest of his life. He told our daughters that if he leaves that at first there will be turmoil, but they will be fine.

All of that has affected our 16 year old to the point that she has been diagnosed with depression. She has anxiety and panic attacks and some days she vomits and has diarhhea that seems like it will never stop. She is failing school. Its so hard to watch your child hurt and not stop it. Thank the good lord her therapy appointment is coming up soon. Our oldest daughter is holding it all in and breaking down periodically. And our son, who is our oldest child, is in the army and has no idea whats going on at home. When he left in January, everything was ok. And he will come home to everything. But what I worry about the most is when he goes back because he will be 2000 miles away from home and do nothing but worry.

Our family was strong and united and now it feels like we are falling apart. Everytime my husband leaves the house, our daughters ask where he is and if hes coming back. Please pray for our family. And any scripture suggestions or direction would be appreciated as well. Thank you so much!!

The LORD is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And He knows those who take refuge in Him. (Nahum 1:7)

When I am afraid, I will trust in You. (Ps 56:3)

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!” (Ps 91:1-2)

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you.
“For I am the LORD your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior (Is 43:2-3a)

i know it's hard. trust in the Lord. ♥

Heavenly Father we know that you can heal mental injuries as well as as physical injuries. We know it will take time, the Holy Spirits power, your love and mercy and affirming relationships from those around him. We also, know that PTSD robs people of their faith in you, their trust in others and their hope for the future. Help us to remember that our foe is a mental condition caused by a traumatic injury and not the person suffering from it. Please give this family the wisdom they need to understand PTSD, the grace to respond in love in spite of the pain, the hope that you are in control even when symptoms are the worst, and give the healing and rest they will need for their own peace and soundness of mind. Please knit this family together in strength and love so that they can work provide a united front for the one they love. Please bring your healing touch to this mans life and please make your word his sustaining strength. We know that you are able to do far above all that we could ever ask for or think and we praise and thank you in Jesus name, Amen.

Mrs99....Lord Jesus I pray that you would bring a divine revelation within the heart of Mrs99's husband, where you would open the eyes of his heart & spirit. Show him the lies that he has allowed to take resident within his heart, that his marriage is better off without him. Lord Jesus, bring him back to a place of hope & peace, and may he recognize that you Lord are the very foundation that this marriage needs. I pray Lord as Mrs99's husband is in therapy, that healing would come for his ptsd. Jesus we know that You are our Great Physician who is able to do abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think. I stand in agreement with others who are praying on behalf of Mrs99's husband. Lord break the cycle of this ptsd once and far all. I pray for this entire family, Mrs99 & her husband and children, that your presence would surround them, and may Your peace & unity be present within their home. Lord, you are with this family & it grieves your heart to see marriages in disrepair, but there is Hope! So we stand on your promises & trust that you have heard these prayers. In Jesus name.. Exodus:14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." Psalms 27:13-14 I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. 14Waitfor the LORD;Be strongand let your hearttakecourage;Yes, waitfor the LORD.

Philippians 4:8 Think on These Things

7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8Finally,brothers,whateveristrue,whateveris honorable, whateveris right, whateveris pure, whateveris lovely, whateveris admirable —ifanythingisexcellentorpraiseworthy —think onthese things. 9Whatever you have learned and received and heard from me, and seen in me, put these things into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.…

Father Lord God whom we love and adore. Help this family, bring peace and rest to all who have been injured emotionally, and traumatized.
We include all the police who face evil's dark hell on a daily day's work, that they also recognize the damage, and the destruction evil is doing in destructive ways, to our minds, body and health. Peace in Jesus name Shalom in Yeshua's name, take his peace, he goes with us call upon the Lord in the day of trouble and he shall deliver you.

Psalm 91:15

I know it may be hard but see if family will agree to not lead on how bad it is for your sons sake maybe you all could make a plan of what is to be said and then that would be that. It is awful that you are going through this very hard time. Revisiting trauma is very very painful exhausting and confusing among a hundred other things... Maybe have a sit down with your husband and just let him know how you feel. He is pushing away right now because that is his instinct. He feels as if he is damaged goods. He needs to be reminded daily from everyone that he is an great dad husband father etc.... He needs to be over loved more now then ever.. If he pushes you back a bit or gets kind of funny just tone it down and give him a bit of space. KInd notes left on a pillow in the fridge in his car just telling how great he is and how loved he is will make a huge difference... I feel what most people want when they pull away is really to just be loved and appreciated. Now i said most people that does not always work... LOrd please help this family come together and show each other how important they are to one another thank you Amen.
