Heavenly Father we believe the words of the old hymn "That soul that all hell should endeavor to shake, I'll never, no never, no never forsake". Our righteousness is from faith in Christ and it is by faith in your son that we can stand before you just as if we had never sinned. Your word tells us in Isaiah 38:17 that you have cast all our sins behind your back so in order for the enemy or anyone else to use those sins against us they must go behind your back to get them. You word tells us in 2 John 1-2 that if we should sin we have an advocate before you who is your son Jesus, who died not only for our sins but the sins of the whole world, past, present, and future. Your word also tells us in Micah 7:8&9 that you are the one who pleads our cause for us and so the enemy has nothing to gloat over. All your promises are yea and amen in Christ Jesus and we claim your promise never to forsake us and to be with us even to the end of the world. We know lord Jesus that you are the God of another chance and not just a second chance and that if you ask your disciples to forgive another 70X7 times a day it is because you have forgiven so much more, you have been faithful to forgive all our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness. In Jesus name, Amen.
