I come on here for prayer and for you all to stand in agreement with me concerning my deliverance from sexual sins.. like most of us we all have struggled with a particular sin and we recognize how damaging it can be. For me? I'm tired of the consistent cycle asking for the Lord's forgiveness and 2 days later back to repating the same sin I promise not to do again. Let me tell you about pleasing your flesh.. bottom line it destroys you, for example the sin I'm struggling with is porn and masturbation (I'm being transparent) watching porn destroys the mind and it perverts your thoughts, masterbation.. MAY seem pleasurable for a MOMENT.. then you fill EMPTY, depressed, sad, guilty. I have been struggling with both for some years now ON & off.. but I feel closer to my deliverance because each time that do it I feel far away from God. * The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak* Matthew 26:41
That's what SIN is like, pleasurable for a moment then you become/fill so miserable.
The devil has MANY tricks and he will put thoughts and desires in your mind to entice you to please your flesh! BUT it doesn't last. It doesn't make you feel good, it doesn't make you feel loved, or worthy, happy or joyful. It only SEPARATES you from GOD and his purpose for you.
So brothers and sisters in CHRIST. this is what I'm struggling with, I know longer what to be captive to my flesh and pleasing my flesh, it's not worth it.. I wouldn't want my children to struggle with this sin because it defiles you..
Pray with me as I pray for myself to overcome this.. I have been tested before, many of times with temptation.. that's what the devil does, if he can't get you to sin, then he will come in your dreams cause you to dream of the sin you're fighting against, or he sends people.. I pray to NOT allow him to ruin my life, my thoughts, my loved ones, and anything that concerns me. I pray and ask for forgiveness of my willful sins, Amen.
