Feeling depressed and having a difficult time finding peace w God. I felt God very sincerely I think a little over a year ago but have not felt at peace with God recently. Being depressed is not necessarily the bad thing. Not being at peace with God is much worse so please pray I can get that. Thanks

That's the enemy, he comes to steal your peace and joy. God will convict you and teach you in love but if you've got lingering feelings of not being at peace with Him, that's a sole source of evil direct from the enemy.

Lord; please help your child feel at peace and solace within themselves and in Your presence oh Lord. Help them to develop their swords against the enemy's dark ways, using discernment based on Your Word. Have them be shown Your light Lord, in Jesus Name I Pray, Amen.

Umzza, I've been there. In fact, I could be there next week- it often hits me without warning. But I have found that when I let my problems (and I have many) overshadow my prayer life and daily study of God's Word I feel estranged from God. I think (IMHO) it's normal for the believer and in some cases in my life it has been good. I can go through a spiritual funk for a few weeks (really!) but then I either read or hear something encouraging in His Word or a friend says the right words to get me back on track and I find myself running back to Jesus, into His open arms. All I could suggest is figure out what is hindering your spiritual life and try to pray through it. Praying for you my friend.
