Sorry this isn't too important. It's just bothering me. I need to get control of my eating and health. I ate 4 hotdogs today and some other junk. I don't eat or drink anything till about 2 every day because of my schedule so it's messing up my diet. As soon as I get out of class, all I want is a burger. When I come home and drink, all I want is to eat junk food afterwards. I've been eating so many burgers, fries, and crap for the past few weeks and need to start eating healthier. I don't want to become overweight and inactive due to my diet. Pray I can get some regularity and healthy food in my diet. Thank you

all I eat all day is burgers... I have a single patty when I wake up, and a double patty when I eat dinner...
And I actually weigh exactly where I should for my height...
Granted the burgers I eat are homegrown meat that my sister raised, and tons of green chile for spiciness...
It's not how much food you eat, its if its real food and if you work enough during the day to use it...

But I will pray :)

Oh man, that sounds good lol. But yeah I mostly eat cheap wally world burgers and fries or cafeteria burgers. Not the real thing.

umzza... I just want to encourage you & maybe give some direction with your eating habits. Personally speaking, if I miss eating breakfast in the morning, that just makes me twice as hungry by lunch time. I know most of us who are on a busy work/school schedule that demands being out the door early in the morning, gives little time to sit and eat a healthy breakfast, but there is some options that work great for me. Put together a breakfast for "on the go" the night before. Typically high protein is great for mental alertness & energy. Burgers are a great source of protein but of course too many in a week can definitely be unhealthy. You will need to decide on what other foods you like for lunch & dinner that would be a healthy alternative. Come up with a planned menu for the week, and try it out. So with that said, I pray that the Lord will help you be more conscious of what you are eating & may the Lord guide you to staying healthy & happy:)

Umzza,dear... I know exactly how you feel...It is hard to control sometimes...but we have to.Drink 2 glasses of water in the morning before you eat your breakfast...and please always remember not to skip a meal(breakfast,lunch and dinner) because you are likely to make up for a missed meal for junk food or you will overeat...Eat smaller portions throughout the day and replacing sugary drinks with water...more water if you can...And hey try this... chewing a mint or a chewing gum mint flavored whenever you feel like grabbing another piece of Burger or hotdog...Mint naturally suppresses your appetite and will make u eat less and feel full. t
Try it if it also will work for you sis. I know you can do it! One step at a time.God bless you sis!I will pray for you too.

****(praying)----eat a healthy cereal for breakfast-----start eating fruit and salad (lunch)---you'll feel much better too...

Pray before you eat or snack, asking God to use what you eat to nourish your body and then ask Him to use you to provide for the people in your community who do not have enough to eat. I believe that God can use that prayer to take away the "munchies" for His glory. I have found it to be helpful for me.

I feel your pain- I switched positions in my company about three years ago and I'm sitting at my desk way too much, and I find myself snacking frequently. I'm getting better but it's hard. I exercise quite a bit and I'm quite healthy but I keep thinking about what great shape I would be in if I just didn't eat stuff that wasn't good for me. Cursed vending machines!

Can't you get up thirty minutes earlier and have breakfast?

it doesn't take long, one can even do this sitting down, 'cut-up' healthy veggies and fruits
and put in a container, put them into a small cooler and take where ever you go, work or play...
there is just never NOT a way to treat or feed ourselves better, we have all of the knowledge that we
need to do it, it just has to be a 'priority'...:rolleyes:
