Pastor and family: That they will seek God, love one another, and facilitate/lead according to God's wisdom.
Church: Outreach/witness, genuine worship atmosphere (includes but is not limited to music), discipleship/small groups,
financial stewardship, and disciplined in (taught by) the God's Word.
Family: Seeking to praise God before talk about problems, but being honest/caring about the problems
That laughter will abound, especially where pain persists. That forgiveness will happen between my dad and another man.
That my grandmother will hear better, or adapt-- continue being the blessing she's been. Aunt of my deceased uncle is visiting; that she will be considerate of others' needs, while others are consider of her own.
Team members at work: That boasting about sin is curbed by Christ-- not to be confused by "church" or pride. That each member will accept and grow in Christ, someday. That many come to Christ through the line, that a revival takes place within (and after) "working hours." That I stay prayed up and prepared, so when the Enemy tries to Trip-- it will be him who Falls. To truly listen to hearts as well as their complaints. Finally, to show mercy as God has shown it.
Someone seeking: He desires to belong and know he belongs. He has innocent hunger for acceptance, but he also has carnal pull to what the world accepts. He has great potential, but he is on the cusp of making huge decisions with little experience. (Yet, we all have been there, in terms of making life choices.) Pray for this guy to listen for God as he makes some choices. Most of all, pray for a change in heart. He has said things to a number of people that excludes. They love, but his actions and words have reflected a heart that is not set on love. Still, he is yearning for something. I pray he learns how great God is. He likes sports: so pray for him as "B-ball" thanks.
