Special prayer for all the kids in school, especially for those without enough food or love at home and those without a home to go to this weekend. May they know God and His love and may we all look towards our Heavenly home with Him.

    Forgiveness Prayer:

Lord Jesus, Divine Forgiver; make me an instrument of forgiveness
This is the first day of the rest of my life.
I forgive those who have hurt me deeply,
I am leaving behind those things of the past and all my past failures and sins.
I'm pressing on today, with a new beginning in You.
Have your way, clear my conscience and mend my broken heart.
Put joy where sorrow once rested.- In Jesus Name AMEN

I don't think healthwise i could last 40 days without food and don't believe God is calling me to do that anyway.

We already have a Savior who has done that for us.

So instead I am going to use the time I normally spend on this site in the Bible discussion forum. In this forum in prayer.

Everyone is welcome to join me.

I typically love reading what others think of the Bible, trying to make peace, etc in the BDF but I feel called to stand in prayer for the Lenten season instead and trust it all to God's hands.

So I will begin the prayer vigil in my next post.

Ah Ricky, you can't put a number on the silent prayers and secret workings of God's kingdom.

Though the Enemy forces are louder. We are stronger, though quieter at times.

Dear God we lift up all who maybe weary of discouraged by the outward appearance of the world. May we look to You and Your workings to find hope, love and joy in Your creation.

A prayer for all who are lost and don't know God. May they meet people filled with the Holy Spirit that points them to Him.

Also a prayer for all the sick in our county from this stomach flu going around the schools. Especially the little children, may they stay hydrated and recovery swiftly.
